Welcome to season 2025 of Collectivo!I’m thrilled to present my 2025 season series, which I’ve carefully crafted to reflect my ownartistic vision. After living and working in Europe for more than12 years, one thing became clear to me: world-class artistry is essential in everything I do. It’s this commitment to excellence that drivesCollectivo. But even more important to me is theconnection between the music and theaudience. I want every performance to be athrilling and inspiring experience for audiences.Experiencing outstanding human achievementup close has always been deeply inspiring to me,and with Collectivo, I’m excited to share thissense of awe and passion with you.Chamber music was meant to be an intimateexperience rather than performing in the largeconcert venues we are so used to today.Collectivo takes us back to the essence of chamber music, where performances are sharedin close quarters. Here, you’ll experience the magic of the music as it was originally intended—up close, personal, and deeply connected.I’m also excited to celebrate the incredibleworld-class musicians who call Australia and NewZealand home. With strong connections frommy past performances with the NZSO, ChamberMusic NZ, and incredible friends like Amalia Hall, this is a project that feels deeply personal to me.New Zealand has an amazing standard of music, but it often flies under the radar in Australia. With Collectivo, we’re bridging that gap, creatinga cross-Tasman exchange and celebrating thebrilliant talent we have in our own SouthernHemisphere. Finally, it’s a real joy to perform in the stunningThomas Dixon Centre, a building that beautifullymarries history with modern architecture.Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey. Ihope our 2025 season captivates you and sparksthe same inspiration that has driven me tocreate Collectivo!Tania Frazer OAM Director and Oboe Soloist
