The Nature Isle of Dominica, indigenously called Waitikubuli meaning tall is her body, is an island in the Caribbean Sea. Dominica has been nicknamed the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean" for its unspoiled natural beauty. It is the youngest island in the Lesser Antilles, still being formed by geothermal-volcanic activity, as evidenced by the presence of the world's second-largest boiling lake. The island features lush mountainous rain forests and is home to many rare plant, animal, and bird species. Dominica’s economy is heavily dependent on both tourism and agriculture. The indigenous Sisserou Parrot, the island’s national bird also known as the Imperial Amazon, is featured in the center of the national ag. The yellow represents the original Kalinago (Carib) inhabitants, the black the fertile soil, the white the pure water, and the green stars the ten island parishes. Dominica has become known as the “go-to” Island for this popular activity. Quoted to be “the only country in the world where the Sperm Whales reside all year long, Dominica’s underwater drop-offs create a deep sheltered bay along its western coastline - the perfect haven for the Sperm Whale to breed and calve. Those who have experienced swimming alongside these gentle giants have denitely lodged this experience in their life-long memory portfolio. Now it’s your turn! There are special permits required for swimming with the whales and also a time frame for the request. However, with our distinguished relationships with the authorities and operators we work to make it happen for you. Don’t delay, contact us today to arrange your “swim with the whales.”Ready to go Diving, Whale Watching, Snorkeling, or Fishing? Allow us to make your “on the sea” Dominica experiences a reality. Dominica prides itself on being one of the top ten diving destinations in the world. Dominica’s diving occurs at three major Marine Reserves: Cabrits National Park in the North, Salisbury on the West coast, and Soufriere Scottshead in the South. Quoted... “The topography of our dive sites mirrors that of our diverse landscape above. High mountain peaks above create dramatic drop-offs, walls and canyons below. Mountain passages become swim-throughs and caverns. Massive boulder elds and volcanic craters underwater just as there are above water, pinnacles that rise everywhere and active underwater fumaroles.” With professional and certied PADI operators here on island, you are sure to experience every inch of the underwater magic. Blessed with over 20 whale species that frequent our waters, whale watching opportunities abound. Snorkeling is an option to experience the underwater landscape, fumaroles, and sea-life, or Sport Fishing to test your luck reeling in one of our abundant deep water game sh alongside a captain & crew familiar with these waters. We can coordinate and arrange all your “on the sea” experiences through our trusted connections.Swim with the Whales an experience of a lifetime VHF 16/10 | 767.245.6332 | 767.245.6382 | cobra@cobradominica.com | www.cobradominica.comOn the Sea Experiences Diving, Whale Watching, Snorkeling, Fishing

The drive continues through the Morne Trois Piton UNESCO World Heritage site towards the rugged east coast with magnicent scenic views and into the historic village of La Plaine. La Plaine is know as the village that was responsible for the land tax revolution which resulted in citizens outside of the major towns being exempt from paying land tax. The drive continues east, where the littoral vegetation is bountiful, into the village of Delices and the trail head for Sari Sari Falls. If going to Victoria Falls the ride is a little further east. The trek to Sari Sari begins with a river crossing and then there are some steep climbs and rock clambering. The source for the White River is Boiling Lake explaining the noticeable sulfur content. Sari Sari can be heard way before one actually see her. She is tucked around a small bend in the river so her dramatic appearance as you turn the bend truly takes your breath away. There are lots of opportunitities along the way to take a swim.If trekking to Victoria Falls be prepared to get wet. The hike requires lots of river crossings and clambering over boulders. The scenery along the way is spectacular and getting there is half the adventure and is so, so worth it. Arriving at Victoria Falls will have you standing there in awe of nature’s power and beauty.
