PAGE 4 LIFE AT THE MISSIONWWW.CHRISTMISSIONS.ORG231 GENEVA HWY, ENTERPRISE, AL, 363308AM-5PM | (334) 393-2607 In a remarkable act of generosity, Goodyear Towing transformed a challenging situation into anopportunity to support the Christian Mission Centers and the local community. When theyreceived a call about a truck that had broken down carrying a load of milk, orange juice, and otherjuices, they made a decision that truly exemplifies community spirit—they donated the entire loadto charitable organizations, with seven of those pallets going directly to our food pantry. This generous donation, which included essential items like milk and juices, provides criticalnutrients such as calcium and vitamins, especially important for children and the elderly. Formany families in our community, these items are often considered luxuries that are difficult toafford regularly. Goodyear Towing’s timely contribution ensured that this nutritious food reachedthose who needed it most, providing much-needed relief to individuals and families facing foodinsecurity. Our food pantry, which serves the Wiregrass community, witnesses firsthand the struggles thatmany families face in securing basic necessities. This unexpected donation allowed us to extendour reach even further, helping to alleviate some of the burdens on those who rely on our services.Goodyear Towing’s decision to donate rather than dispose of these items demonstrates theirstrong commitment to supporting our community, even in the face of challenges. We are deeply grateful to Goodyear Towing for their incredible support. Their act of kindness isnot just about the donated goods, but about the values of compassion and community care thatthey demonstrated through their actions. It’s a powerful reminder of the impact that localbusinesses can have when they choose to make a positive difference. We encourage other localbusinesses to consider how they, too, can contribute to the well-being of our community. Whetherthrough donations, volunteering, or other forms of support, every effort makes a difference. Thank you, Goodyear Towing, for your generosity and for helping us continue our mission ofserving those in need. We are truly blessed to have such compassionate and community-mindedpartners by our side.

Our current session, which began on July 1, 2024, includes 8 women and 16 men workingtoward graduation on December 13. So far, we’ve seen 4 baptisms and 6 salvations.Additionally, 10 participants are pursuing GEDs, and 8 are enrolled in a Precision Measurementclass. A recent mini-revival brought joy to our residents, and we look forward to more upliftingevents. Family support is vital to recovery, and we’re expanding our Family 101 course into acomprehensive series—Family 101 through 104—that focuses on equipping loved ones toeffectively support their family members in recovery. Family 101 serves as an orientation, offering families a detailed explanation of what the program provides and what they canexpect as their loved ones progress. This session emphasizes how families can be supportivewithout enabling, guiding them in their roles as allies in the recovery process. Family 102 takesa more interactive approach, with a game night held on-site. This event allows families toreconnect, catch up, and engage with their loved ones in a supportive environment. The entireFamily 101-104 series is designed to break the cycle of generational addiction by educating andempowering families to be active participants in their loved ones’ recovery journeys.
