THE STORIES BEHIND THE NAMES & FACES Joe Amoroso is thrilled to be performing in their first summer stock season! He is from Jersey and has spent the past year studying musical theater in New York City, #PaceMT '28. He has absolutely loved making the city his home. Favorite past roles include Pippin (Pippin), Joseph (Joseph…Dreamcoat), Ensemble (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Mr. Erlanson (A Little Night Music), and Nick Piazza (Fame). Thank you to his family for all their love and support <3. Tayler Aprile is beyond excited to be making her Woodstock debut! She recently graduated from Nazareth University with a beautiful BFA in Musical Theatre. His latest shows at Geneseo include Tuck Everlasting (Jesse Tuck), Lucky Stiff (Vincent DiRuzzio), The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert Martin), The Spitfire Grill (Joe Sutter), Into the Woods (Jack), and The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart). He would like to thank his professors Don Kot, Dr. Gerard and Joan Floriano, as well as his friends Max Worden and Ethan Shaw. Jake Berube This is Jake’s Woodstock Playhouse debut! He recently graduated from The Hartt School with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He is originally from South Florida, where he made his professional debut in City Theatre Miami’s Short Play Festival. He was most recently seen at the Goodspeed Opera House in their Festival of New Musicals. He would like to thank Michael Taylor, Caryl Fantel, and his parents for their unwavering love and support. Daniel Brenner is absolutely stoked to be joining the Woodstock team for this summer’s season. A Hudson Valley native, he recently completed his B.M. in Vocal Performance at the University of Delaware. For two summers, he had the privilege of studying theatre in Germany where he further honed his acting chops. Most recently, he appeared in Godspell (John the Baptist/Judas) with the Rhinebeck Theatre Society. He's a huge fan of spicy pickles, being outside, seeing live music, and pretty much anything that gets his adrenaline going. Special thanks to his parents for being his #1 fans, and to the rest of his family and friends who always go above and beyond to support him. @__danielbrenner Merrill Cameron is thrilled to make her Woodstock Playhouse debut this season! Merrill attended the University of Vermont, where she studied voice with Sarah Cullins, and has been part of the Vermont theatre scene ever since. Favorite recent credits include Miss Honey in Matilda, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Meredith O’Connor in First Night, and Music Director for Lyric Theatre Company’s 2023 Theater for Young Audiences production of “Elephant and Piggie’s ‘We Are In a Play!’” In addition to performing, Merrill is the studio manager at Lines Vermont Dance Studio + Store, and works with Vermont Dance Alliance, a non-profit serving Vermont’s dance sector. She would like to genuinely thank everyone who has helped her get to the Woodstock stage. Timmy Duggan is absolutely thrilled to be spending this summer with Woodstock Playhouse! He is a rising junior at NYU Tisch, currently training to receive his BFA in Drama. He is double minoring in the Business of Entertainment and Producing. Favorite past credits include: As You Like It (Silvius), The Addams Family (Lucas), and James and the Giant Peach (Ladahlord). THE STORIES BEHIND THE NAMES & FACES Isabella Johnson is excited to be making her summer stock debut at Woodstock Playhouse this summer! She is from Lake Oswego, Oregon and is currently a musical theatre student at Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Some of her favorite educational credits include: Good Luck in Space (Tilley) a new show created by the writers of Urinetown, Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), and Newsies (Katherine). Isabella has been dancing and singing since the age of five and is thankful to be living a life doing what she loves. She wants to thank everyone who has supported her in her performance journey and she hopes you all enjoy the show(s)! @isabellakjohnson Tyler Kalinowski is a BFA Musical Theatre student at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Recent performance credits include Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Topher), The Hello Girls (Eugene Matterson), and Legally Blonde (Emmett Forrest). In 2022, he received “Best Actor” from the Nebraska High School Theater Academy and was a participant in the Jimmy Awards. When not on stage, Tyler can usually be found rehearsing lines… or just talking to himself, which is basically the same thing. He has also been lucky enough to spend his past two winters in East Haddam at the Goodspeed New Musical Festival. Paris Michaud (she/her) is thrilled to be making her debut at Woodstock Playhouse this summer! She is a rising sophomore in the BFA Musical Theatre program with a minor in Performing Arts Administration at the University of Central Florida. Her most recent credits include Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), and Addams Family (Pugsley Addams). THE STORIES BEHIND THE NAMES & FACES Mark Simons is delighted to be performing here at the Woodstock Playhouse for the summer in his first professional shows. They are currently a student at Northern Michigan University’s Theater and Dance program after transferring from the University of the Arts in its closing. Mark is an Interlochen Arts Academy Alumni and has worked there for the past couple of years in their environmental sustainability program educating young and upcoming artists on how to apply sustainability to their art. As of the time of writing, Mark has been honored as the Kennedy Center’s Region 3 representative for musical theater at their national collegiate theater festival. He looks forward to kicking of his career with a wonderful summer! Riley Taylor is so excited to make her Woodstock Playhouse debut this season! She is a recent graduate from The University of Alabama with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia but is loving New York already! Credits include She Loves Me (Ilona/Dance Captain, University of Alabama); Cabaret (Rosie, Sally U/S, UA); Murder Ballad (Female Swing, UA); Shrek The Musical (Ensemble, Red Mountain Theatre). He previously served as Production Manager, Assistant Technical Director, and Technical Director in Training at VTSU Castleton, where he supported numerous productions across technical and performance disciplines. Vidur’s acting credits include As You Like It (Orlando), She Kills Monsters (Orcus), and No Exit (Garcin). He is a two-time KC/ACTF nominee and a finalist for the 2024–25 Irene Ryan Award. THE PRODUCTION STAFF FOR ‘CLUE’ Randy Conti (Director) is currently the Executive Director of the Woodstock Playhouse and its campus for Education in the Arts, the New York Conservatory for the Arts (NYCA) in Hurley. As one of the founders of NYCA the Woodstock Playhouse revival, he has directed over 150 productions locally, U.S. Premiere of All for One, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Boys in the Photograph and Gatsby A New Musical by Landon & Rosen, as well as NYCA troupe performances throughout the United States and Europe, including The White House President’s Park and US Military Bases in Italy. Randy Conti has written two musicals; the first was The Adventures of Aladdin produced at the Ulster Performing Arts Center, and the second For Pete’s Sake! which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland and the Beckett Theatre Off-Broadway in NYC. Randy has been a creative and directing member at USDAN, the Manitou-Wabing Center in Canada, Ulster County Arts Council Board of Directors, Woodstock Chamber of Commerce & Arts, and Headless Horseman Hayrides. Mike Gugliotti (Lighting Designer) returns to the Playhouse for an 14th season after designing the 2024 Summer Stock season. NYC designs include: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (St. Bart’s Players 90th Anniversary Season,) House of Yes (Theatrerats), Triple Threats (Independent Theater), Jesus in Montana (Village Theater) and much more. Diane Stein (Costume Designer) This is Diane’s 15th Season designing the costumes for the Woodstock Playhouse Summer Theatre Festival. She lives in the (New York State) Capital District, where she has been involved with several theater and film companies, including Albany City Ballet (The Nutcracker), and the Schenectady Theatre for Children. She is also one of the founders of the New York Conservatory for the Arts (NYCA) in Hurley, NY. Some of her many NYCA shows include: The Wizard of Oz, Seussical the Musical, and Beauty and the Beast. She also co-designed (with Connie Conti) the costumes for several world premieres, including The Ballad of Kitty Starlight (2013, NYC), All For One (2008, Kingston, NY), and The Adventures of Aladdin (1997, Kingston, NY) and For Pete's Sake (2003, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and US Premiere, Beckett Theater, NYC,) and one of her favorites ‘Hello, Dolly!’. She loves working with young artists and sharing the energy they bring to the stage. Steve Maffia (Resident Technical Director/Sound Designer) studied sound design for the theater at Binghamton University. He has had the wonderful opportunity to engineer such talents as Peter Yarrow, Jack DeJohnette, Savion Glover, Estelle Parsons, David Strathairn, Brandi Carlyle, Colin Quinn, Bill Maher, Well-Strung, Shenel Johns and Dominick Farinacci. This is Steve's ninth year as Resident Sound Designer for the Woodstock Playhouse and he is excited to design this new season. Vivian Gore (Social Promotions Coordinator) is a Junior at Syracuse University pursuing her BFA in Acting. Vivian is thrilled to be working with the Woodstock Playhouse on the other side of the stage! She has previously worked at ArtsBridge assisting Colleen Longshaw Jackson and Cameron Knight. Recent performance credits include What the Moon Saw (Flaming Girl), Pandora's Suitcase (Pandora U/S), The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later (Leigh Fondakowski and Sherry Johnson), and A Marriage Story: One Act (Nicole Barber).
