Two years ago, we reconnected following several challenging years of virtual meetings andconferences. To have the opportunity to gather again in-person was something wecherished. In those three days, we learned, laughed, chatted, and reconnected. Two yearslater, we are now gathering at a time of change in the post-secondary landscape. Withcountries around the world reevaluating their policies on international student enrollment -UK, Canada, and Australia, just to name a few, impacting the ways that post-secondaryinstitutions operate, our work is more important than ever. The sharing of ideas andprofessional development we will do over the next few days will enable us to better supportour students in the coming years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Matt Bowie, Kim English, and their team for allthe work that they have done to put this conference together. It takes dedication frompassionate individuals working collaboratively to make this event possible. Thank you for allyour hard work, effort, dedication, and commitment to CISC'25. To me, CISC is about relationships, sharing of knowledge and collaboration. If you are joiningus for the first time, I am confident that you will find the conference to be a valuable andworthwhile experience that will no doubt be your "go-to" conference in future years. Ifyou've attended the conference before, then I am sure that you will take full advantage ofthe opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, and also build and create relationships withnew CISC members and other conference guests. In the last two years, CISC has grown tremendously, in both the diversity of our membershipand in the opportunities we provide for collaboration and professional development. Noneof this would have been possible if not for the 2023-2025 CISC Executive Team. Thank youfor all your hard work, dedication, and contribution in supporting CISC's mission bothregionally and nationally. It has been an honour serving as your President for this incredibleorganisation these last two years. Not only am I looking forward to connecting andreconnecting with all of you at CISC'25, but also for what lies ahead for CISC.
