The Chapter Business Plan guides chapters through increased engagement andelevated benefits of Florida DECA membership throughout the year. For the 2024-2025school year, tasks are organized into four categories: Must Do, Outreach, Networking,and Engagement. These categories were strategically selected to ensure that allchapters that fulfill the requirements will “Be the One” through meaningful andimmersive opportunities! Florida DECA offers two levels of achievement for completingthe Chapter Business Plan: Gold and Diamond. Chapters can earn recognition for theircompletion of the Chapter Business Plan by completing all Must Do Tasks, plus therequired number of tasks in each of the other sections. Presentation entries must besubmitted no later than January 17th, 2025. All entries must be formatted as a narratedvideo format presentation. Events/activities completed AFTER 2024 FL DECA CareerDevelopment Conference (CDC) count towards credit. FLORIDA DECA CHAPTER BUSINESS PLANPAGE TWOHOW TO SUBMITWhere to Submit?Complete each of your selected CBP activities. Create a google or powerpoint slide show for your verification submission, seerequired documentation. Record your presentation including your slides, voice over explanation/description.Publish the video as an unlisted link and then copy and paste the link into your JOTform submission. Be sure that you have published the video as an unlisted YouTubelink. When uploading the video to YouTube, the final step will be to select the formof upload from the menu in which “unlisted” should be chosen. The video should be“unlisted” as this ensures that the video can only be accessed through the URL linkand cannot not be searched up or copied by any other chapter. TASK TO EARN POINTSAttend ENVISION.Submit a roster of at least 4people that attended ENVISION;submit a picture of all yourattendees at ENVISION in theirconference t-shirts.Attend and represent yourchapter at an open-house, clubfair, or similar event.Submit at least two pictures ofyour booth/table at the eventand your participation in theevent (talking to attendees, etc.).Host an event with another clubat your school.Provide name of the other club.Submit pictures of the two clubsworking together at the event orto organize the event.Branding/identifying informationof both clubs should be apparentin the pictures (poster, clubshirts, etc.).(ex. speed networking).
