Tyler, Wichita, KS Schools: Bishop Carroll, Wichita East, Wichita Heights, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, Wichita North, Wichita Northwest, Wichita South, Wichita Southeast and Wichita West Coaches Meeting: In the grounds shed east of the stadium at 3:15 p.m. Games Committee: Darham Rogers, Cory Swords and Steve Martin (Rajiv Foster, if needed) Starters: J. Means and Wayne Bell Timing: Finish Lynx System Time: 3:30 p.m. – Field Events 4:30 p.m. – Prelims Finals – 30 minutes after the conclusion of Prelims Spikes: The track is a synthetic surface, ¼ inch spikes or smaller are required for all running and jumping events. Shot and discus rings are concrete. Dressing Rooms: Dressing facilities will not be available at the stadium. Entries: Enter three per event and one team per relay. Submit entries online through MileSplit https://www.milesplit.com/. An online information sheet is provided. Be sure and turn your Pole Vault Verification Form and Sportsmanship and Legal Uniform Card in at the Coaches Meeting. Entry Deadline – Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 11:59p.m. Scratches only will be allowed at the coaches meeting. Manual/handheld times need to be a time that has been rounded up and .24 added to that time for 100/200 meters and .14 for 300-400 meters. Example: 10.54 manual/handheld time would be rounded up to 10.6 and .24 would be added to that time. Making the entered time 10.84. Please enter this season’s times/distances/heights. Prelim marks can be used if they can be verified. Please do not enter athletes in an open event with a split time from a relay or a practice time. During the scratch meeting, any questions
concerning the accuracy of Times/Distances/Heights submitted for student-athletes entered into the meet MUST be raised and addressed. Coaches must be able to verify where and when the time, distance or height was established in case of question. If the entry cannot be verified the student-athlete will be entered as having No Time/Distance/Height. Scoring: Six places will be scored: 10-8-6-4-2-1 Implements: We will weigh in implements between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the grounds shed east of the stadium. All implements that do not make weight will be impounded and kept in the shed. Impounded implements may be picked up after the event has concluded. Medals: Medals will be awarded to the top six places in each event. Admission: Per league policy, admission will be charged. Adults $7.00, Students with ID’s $5.00, Children Preschool and Younger Free. Student activity passes and booster passes will not be honored. Team members (in uniform) and track coaches are admitted free. Please inform parents, patrons and fans of this policy. **Country Acres entrance will be open until about 3:00. Only coaches and administrators should be using the Country Acres entrance and parking around the maintenance shed and inside the stadium. Event Assignments: Shot – Southeast Discus – Kapaun Mt.
