Ways to Help PUT YOUR DOLLARS TO WORK We depend on your donations to operate our multiple programs to help our neighbors in northern New Jersey with their emergency food and housing needs ORGANIZE A FOOD DRIVE Food drives are an essential part of CFA s ability to help local families and individuals in need Food drives can be held in schools places of worship businesses neighborhoods or just about anywhere people gather GET INVOLVED IN OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS You can help spread the word and support CFA s work by LIKING and SHARING our social media posts VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME BRING YOUR FRIENDS Please email volunteer cfanj org to learn more about how you can help Emergency Food Assistance Any resident of Bergen County or northern Passaic County in need of food may make an appointment for a drive through food appointment Distributions are held weekdays at CFA locations and on weekends throughout the year at pop up distributions Once checked in at CFA those in vehicles open the trunk and CFA volunteers distribute a prepacked box of non perishables along with fresh produce meat cheese eggs diapers and formula when available Those on foot are assisted with boxes and bags Businesses Groups Support from companies civic organizations and community based organizations helps CFA continue to improve and expand our ability to provide emergency food and homelessness prevention services Contact us to create a customized fundraising program
