  • Phishing- An act of online fraud by which the attacker wants to learn information by posing as a legitimate company. 
  • Blog- A created website run by an individual or group containg personal observations, opinions, experiences, etc. 
  • Internet Flaming- Insulting or being hostile to other internet users.

Tips for creating a strong password. 

  • Never give your password to anyone. 
  • Choose one that's easy for you to remember but hard for others. 
  • Include things like numbers and captial letters. 
  • Make sure your device is secure. 
  • Din't use any dictionary words. 



  • Don't abuse your power. 
  • Know where you are in cyberspace. 
  • Respect others people's privacy.  
  • Help keep flame wars under control. 
  • Be forgiving of other poeple's mistakes.

  • Make sure the passwords are strong.

  • It happens with videos, software, DVDs and music.

  • Do not meet someone or have them vistit you without your parents permisson. 
  • Remember that someone may not be who they say they are. 
  • Never give out your personal information. 
  • Tell your parents if someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable. 
  • Be a good person and do not hurt anothers feelings. 
  • Do not give your password to anyone other then your parents. 
  • Respect other people's views, even if you don't agree with it. 

Social Media

Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over electronic devices. Such devices include cell phones, computers, and tablets. Things like mean text messages, rumors sent by email or posted where everyone can see it is cyberbullying. Showing others embarrassing photos, videos, etc. can also be cyberbullying.  



Cyberbuying is very easy to prevent. The following are things you can do to prevent it and protect yourself. 


  • Stop and think before you do or say someing to others. 
  • Treat everyone with respect. 
  • Talk to an adult if you or someone you kow is being cyberbullied. 
  • Stay away from the places that the bullying occurs. 
  • Stay near adults or other kids you trust. 
  • be nice to someone who is being bullied. 
  • Know that not saying anything can make it worse.
