#CURFC I have represented CURFC throughout my degree in Medicine, playing rugby atthe highest level of university rugby in the UK. The Rugby Performance Programme atCardiff University has provided a fantastic platform for my rugby development andenabled me to go on to achieve international caps against teams such as Tongaand the USA. The top level facilities and coaching staff have been a massive part ofmy rugby journey. There are very few rugby programmes that would have enabledme to achieve a degree in medicine and play international rugby. At Cardiff University we offer a unique playing programme. Our Men’s 1st XV compete inthe highest tier of the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) framework in BUCS SuperRugby. This comprises of the 10 best rugby union university teams across the UK. With 6other teams (including x2 Medics teams) competing weekly in BUCS competition, CardiffUniversity provided a rugby destination for students of all playing aspirations.

Our RPP benefits from partnerships with the WRU, Welsh regional rugby and WelshPremiership rugby. Our partnerships also extend to England Premiership andChampionship clubs.
