What is the goal of CapEx?Our Goal is to: ➢ To take a “Proactive Team Approach” to assisting our Clients. ➢ Develop a Dialogue that opens the door for additional discussions about future opportunities for VDA with our existing clients.➢ Help our clients understand and navigate through the often-complex Elevator Industry that we live and work in. ➢ Maximize our “Internal Business Opportunities”.

How will you develop a CapEx?Phase One: ➢Identify a project that VDA has worked on in the past, that will be in need of a Modernization within the next 5 years or less. ➢Larger Opportunities are Preferred. Multiped Elevators, Multiple Building, Multiple Properties. Smaller opportunities are acceptable but typically not less than 6 Elevators.➢Identify the Latest/Most Accurate Report for that project that contains all/most of the necessary Project Data/Information.➢Send the Project Name and those Reports to both Amy and John O.

How will we develop a CapEx?Phase Two: ➢ Amy and John O will develop the CapEx Report for you. ➢ Once completed, the Area Manager/Consultant/John O will meet to review and discuss the Accuracy of the CapExcreated.➢ Any Changes, Additions or Modification will be made to the CapEx. ➢ We will then identify who the Clients Decision Maker is. ➢ As a team, we will decide who will present the CapEx directly to the client Face to Face.

Why face-to-face?➢ Typically, this CapEx will be provided to our clients at “No Cost.”➢ It will be “Unsolicited” and may not be Considered a Priority by our Client.➢ If we just “Email” the CapEx to them, they probably won’t even open it. ➢ And if they do happen to open it, they may Not Understand it. ➢ We need to explain the Value of the CapEx to them, across their desk, Eye to Eye, so that they Understand the Value. ➢ This will then begin the Dialogue necessary to Discuss the Clients Issues/Needs/Wants.➢ Allowing VDA to step in and Sell them our Services.

Rules of Engagement➢ CapEx will be a Priority Going Forward and Everyone will participate.➢ The VDA Designated Presenter has 30 Days to make the presentation.➢ If they do not make the presentation within 30 Days, John O will present it in person to the client. ➢ All intel from the Face-to-Face meeting is to be Uploaded into Salesforce immediately after the meeting. ➢ A Follow-up Plan will be established after each Face-to-Face Meeting.
