A $50 deposit is required at the time of registration to reserve
your campers spot. The balance must be paid in full by June 15,
Sibling Discount
CMW offers a $25 discount per sibling for families that
register more than one camper.
Multi-Session Discount
CMW offers a $50 discount for girls attending both 1-week
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The $50 deposit is non-refundable. Registration fees will not
be refunded after June 25th.
Health History, Physical and Camper Medication
In order to attend camp, a completed health history form and a
physical are required. Once you register a Parent Confirmation
Packet will be sent via email.
Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transportation
for their child to and from Camp Mary White.
Don’t let cost be a barrier to your amazing camp experience.
Funds for partial camperships are available at the discretion of
CMW for families that demonstrate financial need.
There are also dedicated partial camperships for girls who live
in Artesia and/or Eddy County, New Mexico funded through an
anonymous donor.
In addition, there are partial camperships available for girls
who live in Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza,
Hale, Hockley, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley, Terry, and
Yoakum counties in West Texas funded through the Community
Foundation of West Texas.

About Camp Mary White
Camp Mary White, established in 1927, was one of the first Girl
Scout camps west of the Mississippi. The camp is situated on
200 acres near Mayhill, New Mexico in the Lincoln National
Forest. It has been home to generations of girls, who learned
stewardship of nature and community at the camp. This rustic,
residential camp for girls, aged 8-17, offers a mountain outdoor
experience with archery, horseback riding, leadership skills, arts
& crafts, hiking and much more. Our campers will experience the
“Magic of Camp Mary White” a magic that will enrich them with
a sense of accomplishment and independence. It will also offer a
treasure of wonderful memories that she will carry for a lifetime.

Camp Sessions
Leadership Programs
CIT I (Counselor-In-Training I)
11th and 12th Grade
July 9th-22nd
Program: CIT I’s will participate in various outdoor
programming which includes: archery, outdoor cooking, art,
music, dramatics, story-telling, nature study, conservation,
sports, campcraft, hiking, overnight trips and trail rides on
In addition, they learn leadership skills to become an effective
camp counselor. These skills include: CMW traditions, camper
safety, advanced camp craft skills, basic first aid, orienteering,
camper behavior management and decision making. The CIT’s
will have opportunities to practice these skills with independence
under the guidance and support of experienced staff.
CIT II (Counselor-In-Training II)
12th Grade
July 9th-22nd
PROGRAM: Participants in CIT II must have completed CIT I.
CIT II’s will be assigned to a unit of campers and will function
as junior couselors. They will continue to develop their
leadership skills while leading campers through their daily
CIT II’s are under the supervision of the Lead Counselor in the
unit to which they are assigned. They will continue to develop
their leadership skills under the guidance of the CIT Director.
Summer Sessions
The grades listed for our camp sessions refer to the grades
girls will be entering in the fall of 2017.
July 9th-15th
July 16th- 22nd
$350 per week.
Campers registering for both sessions are eligible for the Multi-Week Discount.
PROGRAM: Camp Mary White offers a variety of outdoor
programming which includes: archery, outdoor cooking, art,

conservation, sports, camp-craft, hiking, overnight trips and
trail rides on horseback.
Our camp activities will be geared toward the age level in each
unit and will progress in skill level.

CMW’s 90th Anniversary &
Open House
Saturday, June 10th - 10:00am-3:00pm
Come visit and learn about Camp Mary White, meet some
of the camp staff, and tour the grounds. All children must be
accompanied by an adult. Wear comfortable close toed walking
shoes and bring your water bottle. Please leave pets at home.
