HistoryExecutive SummarySince the 1990s Cadsteel has been one of the early adopters of light gauge steelframing operating steel framing factories in New Zealand and the USA andAustralia. Fully Australian owned and operated, Cadsteel uses the latestinnovative technology and Framecad manufacturing equipment to producelightweight galvanised steel frames, trusses and flooring systems.A new plant was establised at 4/84 Christensen South Road Stapylton in 2021and due to rapid growth, in November 2022 the company relocated to a largerfactory at 10b/84 Christensen South Road. This new manufacturing facilityprovides over double the production space and an additional 300 m2 officespace to accommodate back of house services.The Company is structured as a corporation. CADSTEEL PTY LTDLocation AnalysisThe Stapylton plant is located midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coastand within 5 minutes of the main North, South and West arterials reducingfreight times. Cadsteel operates a fleet of custom built crane trucks and trailerscapable of transporting a 200 square metre structure in one load.The Company does not advertise in traditional media but maintains a digitalmedia presence. CADSTEEL PTY LTDOur ProductsCadsteel manufactures cold-formed steel frames and trusses. The product isnon-combustible and can withstand fires, hurricanes and high winds. Coldformed steel is a termite, mould and rot-proof solution and is the most recycledmaterial on Earth. The ease of prefabrication and mass production, fast andeasy erection of Cadsteel's frames and trusses substantially speeds upconstruction time.Cadsteel cold formed steel members are fabricated to exact standards and areaccurate to within 1.6mm, allowing even complicated designs to be constructedmore easily and with less waste than traditional materials.Steel Frames & Trusses

The system comprises both joists and perimeter frame with the joists sitting atthe same level as the perimeter, achieving a full load transfer for multi-leveldwellings providing strength and reliability.C-Span joists are pre-punched with service holes to provide sufficient space forelectrical, plumbing and air-conditioning services with the joist. C-Span trucksare fitted with HIAB cranes with substantial reach so that product can bedelivered to site, usually without the additional cost of crane hire.C-Span is a light-weight flooring system designed to replace web or timberjoists. It substantially reduces the cost and installation time of mid and subfloors for both residential and commercial construction.In January 2023 our state-of-the-art rollformer was brought online. The Company'sengineering subsidiary, Prosteel Australia provides specialised engineering anddetailing services to the light gauge steel industry facilitating fast processing ofengineering requirements. Prosteel Australia issues a Form 15 prior tomanufacture and after installation, conducts onsite inspections for the issue ofForm 12.Cadsteel's teams of erecting crews are amongst the most experienced in theindustry, regularly erecting two storey homes of up to 250sqm in less than twodays and single level homes up to 200 sqm in one day.CADSTEEL PTY LTD
