The Inventors Journey We highlight revolutionary ideas and concepts and trace them back to their original roots of invention Community Support Has Been Tremendous Since the Cade opened its doors to our community almost 100 000 have visited the museum Donors like you have enabled guests from our community across the US and beyond to understand science technology engineering arts and math concepts through a truly unique lens 100 000 13 000 15 770 visitors to date school field trip students volunteer hours The Cade inspires through inventions creating an interlocking tapestry of hands on experiences rather than teaching STEAM subjects in isolation unconnected to daily life This honors the legacy of the museum s namesake Dr James Robert Cade the UF physician who led the team that invented Gatorade

Operation Full STEAM Unique Approach to Learning Full STEAM seeks to dramatically impact the trajectory of children s lives through early intervention In addition to the STEAM themes exhibits labs and activities that occur within the museum s walls significant hands on work takes place far beyond them In partnership with the Alachua County School Board the Cade Museum provides intensive STEAM learning for children from the lowest performing schools in the district Children grades 2 through 5 will experience the Cade in their classroom paired with several trips annually to the Cade Museum 2 500 individual visits Almost 500 students
