The Awards Geography The Cade Prize has a national reach, inviting inventors and entrepreneurs based in any state or territory within the United States of America to apply.Eligibility The Cade Prize for Innovation is designed to help inventors and entrepreneurs move beyond invention and into the marketplace. • The prize accepts applications from both independent inventors and incorporated companies in all development areas.• The prize accepts applications from nonprofits, for profits, and B corporations.• Must be based in the United States of America.• Must have no more than $500,000 in outside investment funding from investors received in exchange for stock, convertible note, or other similar instrument issued by the company (excluding grants, personal funds, in-kind support, competition prizes, or loans from friends and family).The Cade Museum is looking for the next Gatorade.Who Can Apply?The Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention is named after Dr. Robert Cade, the lead inventor of Gatorade. His invention saved lives, spawned a new industry, and opened doors for other early-stage inventors.
