Message April 25, 2025 ה״פשת ןסינ ז''כ ינימש תשרפ Dear Parents,The parsha begins with the inauguration of the Mishkan. Aharon HaKohen is directed to bring an לגע (calf) for a תאטח ןברק. Rashi quotes the אמוחנת שרדמ that states רפכמש עידוהל השעש לגע השעמ הז לגע י״ע ה״בקה ול. The purpose of this calf was to show Aharon that he was forgiven for his part in making the בהזה לגע. Later in the Parsha, we find that ינב לארשי are command to bring an לגע for an הלוע offering and a םיזיע ריעש as a תאטח. The םינהכ תרות writes: ףוסו הליחת םכל שי םתא – you, לארשי ינב have two תוריבע to atone for, one at the beginning and one at the end. The לגע was brought as an הלוע is a הרפכ for their part in the לגעה אטח, and the םיזיע ריעש is a הרפכ for ףסוי תריכמ when the Shevatim dipped the םיספ תנותכ in the blood of a םיזיע ריעש.The Meforshim wonder: if the Mishkan was given to us as a הרפכ for the לגעה אטח, why then at the inauguration of the Mishkan do we bring a korban to be רפכמ for ףסוי תריכמ? What is the connection between these two תוריבע?The המכח ךשמ writes that perhaps the Shevatim had a valid excuse for selling Yosef. He should have brought his complaints to them directly rather than to Yaakov, since that is the proper method of giving החכות. Had he done so, the Shevatim could have claimed, they would have dealt with it appropriately. However, during the incident of the אטח לגעה, Chur tried to be חיכומ them directly to prevent them from making the לגע. His words were not accepted, and he was murdered. This would prove that their previous excuse for selling Yosef was invalid, and they would not have accepted Yosef’s החכות had he communicated with them directly. Once the excuse was invalidated by לגעה אטח, Klal Yisrael needed a הרפכ for ףסוי תריכמ – hence the need for the twofold korban. The lesson for us all is self evident direct communication could avoid so much friction. The Chofetz Chaim when listing the seven conditions required to speak Lashon Harah for a constructive purpose requires in condition number three to first address the issue directly. תבש טוג Rabbi Ochs 7:19 PM● Wed, April 30 - GS staff meeting, 3PM dismissal all gradesSun, May 4- Rebbeim meeting, 11:30 dismissalFri, May 9 - Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ DaySun, May 18 - Torah Academy Auction (women only)Mon, May 26 - 12:00 Hamilton dismissal, 12:15 - Williston dismissalWed, May 28 - GS staff meeting, 3PM dismissal all gradesDIRECT COMMUNICATION
