What toExpectBEFORE YOUR SESSION:Select your desired session, complete thebooking process which consists of submittingyour retainer and signed contract.Confirmation will be sent automatically.DURING YOUR SESSION:Get ready for a fun experience. I will guide youthrough the entire session so no need to worryif you don't know what to do. You can expectto act normal. Laugh, talk and have fun! AFTER YOUR SESSION:You can expect a sneak peek posted to my social media within1-2 days of your session. You will receive an online viewinggallery where you will select the images that are included withyour session. You will also be able to purchase additional digitalfiles, prints and products all from your gallery.
Let’s admit it, choosing what to wearfor photos can be stressful but it's avery important decision! You want to choose clothing thatcompliments both body and skin tones. Think in terms of tones: earthtones, neutrals or pastels. Myfavorite bold tones are mustard,rust, green, brown and black andthey pair nicely with warm neutralslike cream and tan. All clients will receive a guideon what to wear that includestips and even color palettesand images for inspiration. wondering what to wear?
Mixing Colors & PatternsM ix solids, patterns and textures to give vis ua linterest in photos. Put adults in solid colors andkids in different patt er ns or mix it up however youwant. Choose 1-2 patterns such as florals,checkers, polka dots or stripes but avoid mixing 2of the same. Once you find your favorite pattern,incorporate colors within those patterns. Addlayers if needed for texture.One way to add pops of color is to accessorize.Think necklaces, earrings, scarves, headbands,hats, jackets/cardigans, suspenders and evensocks and shoes!Avoid wearing bright red or orange, instead thinkrust or burnt orange. White is also a color toavoid, go for cr eam or ivory instead. Avoid brightneon colo rs.

No need to worry if you do nothave a location in mind. I haveseveral locations near by I like toshoot and if you are up to travel, Ican do that too. Think about whatlook you are going for, open fieldwith lots of trees, coastal look orhills and mountians. If we have totravel to get the look, we will! Session Time & Location DOES THE TIME OF DAY MAKE ADIFFERENCE? Yes. Yes. Yes!! All sessions takeplace at sunrise or sunset. Thesetimes offer the best lighting.Daytime creates a harder lightcreating hard highlights andshadows and this is not the style Ichoose for my images. WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ALOCATION? WHAT IF IT RAINS?Sun is beautiful but cloudy skiescan make for some pretty amazingimages. If you don't mind theclouds and a small rain shower,then neither do I. If the rain is toomuch, we will reschedule yoursession date.
