Long-me parishioners, Geri and Kevin Gaynor, are the rst donors to Saint E’s Rose Fund. “We have made provision in our will with bequests to three organizaons dear to our hearts including Saint E’s. We truly believe in giving back to organizaons that have supported us and actually provide a pathway for us to lead our lives.” Certainly, you would agree that being a part of our warm and wonderful community of Saint E’s is a tremendous blessing. We have experienced so many of our family memories— sacramental celebraons, Easter and Christmas Masses, weddings and anniversaries, burials of our loved ones, Appreciaon Nights, and Talent Shows. Together, we have shared a lifeme of ministry, memories and prayer, so much so that our individual legacies and Saint E’s legacy are forever intertwined. As it is for our generaon, would it not be wonderful if Saint E’s connues to be an essenal part of our generaons to come? It is for this reason that our parish has launched The Saint E’s Rose Fund. With some careful planning, we can make certain that our many ministries, parish campus and all it houses, will connue to thrive for the next 100 years. There are many ways to support this Fund. For example, you can remember Saint E’s in your estate plan as a beneciary in your will. It is simple to do if you already have a will and only involves adding a codicil with the suggested language accompanying this arcle. This very meaningful charitable gi which Father Stephen describes as the “Last Act of Generosity” will have absolutely no impact on your nances today and it can provide tax advantages for your family upon the selement of your estate. You can also designate Saint E’s in a living trust, Donor Advised Fund (DAF), rerement accounts, a Qualied Charitable Distribuon from your IRA of up to $105,000 annually, or a life insurance policy.“By naming Saint E’s Rose Fund in your will or estate plans,” says Father Stephen, “you can help ensure our mission and vision for generaons to come. Moreover, your generosity will empower Saint E’s to connue spreading love, compassion and service in Christ’s name.” More informaon about the Saint E’s Rose Fund will be available in October during an Educaonal Session on planned giving and charitable estate planning. We look forward to seeing you there. Unl then, you can speak directly with Father Stephen or contact Dan McHugh, Saint E’s Business Manager, at Extension 202.
