Project Goal

Improve the quality of life for 40 impoverished Colombian pediatric patients diagnosed with clubfoot through financial support for their treatment.

Support the treatment of 40 pediatric patients diagnosed with clubfoot.

- Contribute to improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries of the treatment and their families.

- Raise awareness about the timely and adequate treatment of this pathology.

Project Update

In June 2023, the project officially begins with the following protocols:

� Conformation of a project organizing committee with members from the Cooperation Office, the New Channels of Care Office and the Special Projects Office. � Conformation of a clinical board, led by Dr. Diego Ortíz* for the call

for patients. � Establishment of a special care pathway for project patients.� For the selection of cases, mainly socio-economic criteria were established to prioritize the treatments to be supported


*Dr. Diego Ortiz is the Director of the Ponseti Clinical Care Center at the Roosevelt Institute, which treats clubfoot. A total of 3 children have undergone surgery: Anthony, Yeiker and Bienvenida A document received from Roosevelt Hospital is attached to this record and saved in TEAMS
