Mini Session FAQsWhat should the dancer wear?Attire is completely the dancer's choice. I recommend Bright colors. Dull, muted or fadedcolors are not recommended. Attire may be in ballet/hip hop/jazz styles or even streetwear. Will there be any Clothes/Costumes available to use?I have a few items that dancers may use; long tulle skirts, tutu's etcHow many "Outfits" or Costumes should we bring?I recommend planning on having photos taken in 2-4 "styles" or outfits. This can be acombination of what you bring and what I have in stock.What shoes should the dancer Wear?Footwear is the dancer's choice, All shoes are acceptable: dance shoes, street shoes,boots, bare feet etc with the exception of pointe shoes. If a dancer has not yet beenplaced on pointe with their studio, they may not wear pointe shoes for the photo shoot.Are Parents allowed to participate "Behind-the-scenes"?Parents are allowed up stairs with the photographer to collaborate and can be a part ofchoosing the outfits, helping the dancer change and with hair and makeup. Please bemindful and professional with the photographer as she is a retired dancer andunderstands lines and shapes and will make great decisions for your dancers' photos.How many photos will we receive?20 minute packages include 4 Photos and 1 Head shot, while 30 Minute packages include6-7 photos and 1-2 head shots. However, I will take as many photos as possible in ourallotted time. If we get extra photos (which we usually do) I will edit and give the option topurchase at a later date. Optional photos will be watermarked so that you can choosewhich ones you would like. The additional cost is 1 for $5 or 3 for $12.What should the dancer wear for headshots?I recommend either a sharp & wide v-cut shirt, or any desired cut that you think makesyour dancer look best. We can also do a "No-Sleeve" look, with bare shoulders. Hair canbe up or down, make up should be natural.
