A COZY AND COMFORTABLESOFA NAMED SAMMY LIVEDIN A LOVELY HOME WITH ALOVING FAMILY FOR MANYYEARS, BUT ONE DAY, THEYDECIDED TO REPLACE HIMWITH A NEW SOFA. SO,SAMMY FOUND HIMSELFOUTSIDE ON THE STREET,ALL ALONE AND FEELINGVERY SAD.

SAMMY WATCHED AS PEOPLEWALKED BY, BUT NOBODYSEEMED INTERESTED INTAKING HIM HOME. AS THESUN STARTED TO SET, SAMMYBEGAN TO FEEL SCARED. HEHAD NEVER BEEN OUTSIDEBEFORE, AND NOW HE WASALL ALONE IN THE DARK.

BUT THAT WASN'T THE ONLYTHING THAT SCARED SAMMY. HEHAD HEARD ABOUT THESHADOW PEOPLE, WHO WOULDTAKE PICTURES OF SOFAS.SAMMY HAD SEEN OTHERSOFAS DISAPPEAR AFTER THEIRPICTURES WERE TAKEN, AND HEWAS AFRAID THAT THE SAMETHING WOULD HAPPEN TO HIM.

AS THE NIGHT WORE ON, SAMMYGREW MORE AND MORE ANXIOUS.HE TRIED TO HIDE IN THE CORNER, BUT THESTREETLIGHTS ILLUMINATED HISPOSITION.

SOON A SHADOW PERSON CAME TO TAKE SAMMY'S PHOTO. SAMMY WAS AFRAID.BUT THE SHADOW PERSONSPOKE SOFTLY AND TOLDSAMMY THE PHOTO WOULDHELP HIM FIND A NEW HOME.

THE SHADOW PERSON POSTEDA SIGN THAT SAID. "NEW HOMENEEDED" AND IT HAD SAMMY'S PHOTO ON IT. SOON A FAMILYWALKED BY AND THE LITTLEBOY READ THE POSTER. HISNAME WAS TYE.

AS TYE WAS WALKING HOMEWITH HIS MOM AND DAD, HETHEN SPOTTED SAMMY. "LOOK,MOMMY!" HE EXCLAIMED."THERE'S A LITTLE SOFA ALL BYITSELF. IT'S THE ONE FROM THEPOSTER. CAN WE TAKE ITHOME?"

HIS PARENTS HESITATED,BUT TYE WAS SO EXCITEDABOUT THE SOFA THATTHEY AGREED TO TAKE ITHOME. SAMMY WASOVERJOYED AS HE WASCARRIED AWAY BY TYE ANDHIS FAMILY.

AT FIRST, SAMMY WASNERVOUS IN HIS NEW HOME,BUT HE SOON REALIZEDTHAT TYE AND HIS FAMILYLOVED HIM. THEY WOULD SITON HIM AND READ BOOKS,WATCH MOVIES, AND EVENTAKE NAPS. SAMMY FELTSAFE AND WARM, AND HE NOLONGER WORRIED ABOUTTHE SHADOW PEOPLETAKING HIS PICTURE.

SAMMY LEARNED THAT SOMETIMES,SCARY THINGS CAN LEAD TOWONDERFUL NEW BEGINNINGS. HEWAS GRATEFUL TO HAVE FOUND ANEW HOME WITH PEOPLE WHOLOVED AND APPRECIATED HIM. ANDEVEN THOUGH HE WAS NO LONGERON THE STREET, SAMMY WOULDNEVER FORGET THE SHADOWPEOPLE AND HOW THEY HELPEDHIM FIND A NEW HOME.
