MINUTES FROM MEETING  6:30 PM meeting started   Awards presented for 2 board members   President Denny gave introduction as new president, spoke about 2 upcoming events/ charities in January and February.  President advised council of increase in rates for board meetings and general meeting by current hotel venue. Also gave update on what club was billed for the Classic Dine out.  Mike Skiles presented potential future meeting locations.   Glen gave addition input in regards to the potential future meeting locations and additional pros and cons.  Motion to select 5 Oaks as new meeting location made by Dave Rowe and 2NDby Ryan Berg./  Treasure gave update on club financials and CD’s. Elaine also informed board any checks over 1k will be cosigned by President Denny.  Mike Skiles gave ideas for 2024 Drive N Dines and potential locations.   Jeff G presented a new joint adventure with club and Voices Against Cancer non profit charity events.  Mike Hardy updated on CHIIPS website and features.   Ryan informed board that next year shirt designs are being worked.   Glen and Mick discussed date for Spring Rally and event is still going to happen.   Barry gave 2024 Corvette Classic costs for event (room costs). Also venue/hotel is going through renovations.  Mike Gilbride let the board know about issues with Buzzbook and trying to add new members.   Glen let board know club members requested at last meeting, to have board members introduce themselves at general meetings.  7:47 President motioned to adjourn, 1stby Dave Rove, 2ndby John Pesicka.Respectfully submitted,Jeff Gifford, Secretary

BOARD MEETING May 20 2023 BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT DAVE ROWE DENNY ROBINSON ELAINE ROBINSON JOHN PESICKA BARRY KONKEN RYAN BERG MIKE SKILES MIKE HARDY MICK HOFFER GLENN HOFFER BOARD MEMBERS NOT PRESENT JEFF GIFFORD GUEST CLUB MEMBERS MINUTES FROM MEETING Note minutes for the May 20 2023 Board meeting are a compilation of Officer input as the Secretary was unable to attend and notes were collected post meeting There may be some inadvertent omission of attendance and topic matter 6 30 PM meeting called to order by President Dave Rowe President Dave Rowe discussed plans for club trip to the Surf Ballroom Past President Mike Skiles discussed the topic of how to add value to our sponsors Major suggestion was to display sponsors on the first page you see when opening both SFCC website and Facebook Treasurer Elaine Robinson reviewed the renewal of CDs and moving them from Edward Jones in Sioux Falls to their office in Mitchell to make it more convenient for her to manage Vice President Denny Robinson discussed membership including current membership levels and new members He also shared information on several upcoming car shows that may be of interest Member Ambassador Mike Gilbride provided an update on Buzz Book and that they continue to verify all data before converting to Simple Booklet program for posting to web page Historian Paul Dyke spoke to receiving pictures of prize winners from the Poker run from Mike As a follow up to a request from our membership Paul indicated that no offers of pictures from club members have come forward other than mention of items in storage by Dusty Miller Merchandise Coordinator Ryan Berg provided an update on all things related to the current merchandise program The Club is planning on having the trailer at Jerry s on Wednesday of the Classic Will sell old merchandise and redeem Event T Shirt Vouchers from Pre Registration There have been 177 Pre Orders for the BHCC shirts already and that the T Shirt design has been finalized BHCC

Online Store will be open later today and run through 6 23 for pre orders and then open again during the event Wed Sun of the Classic CHIPS Editor Mike Hardy provided insights on communications provided to the membership readership of website articles along with traffic and followers on social media Work continues on the website refresh with Michaela but progress has been slow to finalize Respectfully submitted Mike Hardy Editor CHIPS

Motion to register 4 the banquet and put a check deposit for the RSVP by John Pesicka and 2nd by Mike Hardy Mike Hardy spoke about the clubs online pay and new features software and the designer will finish up the sites light work that needs refreshed Discussion by board if we want to keep the minutes by the Secretary on the website motion to keep them on by John Pesicka seconded by Paul Dyke John Kladstrup informed board the NCCC wants the entire zip code for all members 5 digits four will send CHIPS email to all members Barry confirmed Black Hills classic dates bookings for bands drag races registration is open for attendees and other attractions booked Mike Skiles went over Drive Dine events Mike Skiles motion to adjourn and 2nd by Ryan Berg meeting ended at 8 12 PM
