We thank you, Lord, for the gift of animals in our lives. We thank youfor animals that comfort us, delight us and give us companionship. Wethank you for dogs and cats, birds and hamsters, guinea pigs and fish,for birds and, horses and cows and sheep, lizards, snakes and creepythings, for every animal in the sky, the sea, the forest, in zoos, inshelters and in our homes. We also thank you, Lord, for animals that give us wool and feathers tokeep us warm. We thank you for animals that give us mike, cheese andeggs to help us grow and to keep us healthy. We thank you for horses,donkeys and oxen that work hard on farms around the world.We thank you, Lord, for animals that eat plants and fertilize the soil,making it richer and more fertile for new growth and new life. Wethank you , Lord for the gift of insects, and especially bees, to pollinatefruit and vegetable plants for us to eat and flowers to give us joy. We thank you ,Lord, for all the animals in the whole wide world, wethank you Lord for all the fun and friendship we have with animals. We ask forgiveness Lord, for all the times we have hurt or neglectedanimals, we are sorry. Lord, for all the times we have destroyed thehomes of animals in the forests, oceans or fields we are sorry. For allour sins against the creatures of Earth, we ask for forgiveness. We ask for blessings May God, who created the animals of the earth tobe our helpers, continue to bless all his creatures and creation, now andalways. Amen.
