Why did I choose Wolfgang Reitherman?

I chose this animator because I liked many of the movies that he’s made, he worked for Walt Disney, and all of the movies he made were the originals. He’s made One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Robin Hood, and The Jungle book. All of these movies were first made by him in the 60’s and 70’s then later remade in many different  ways.

 Brief Description of Wolfgang's life:


Wolfgang Reitherman was born on June 26, 1909 in Germany. He went to college at the Chouinard Art Institute. He got a job as an animator for Walt Disney. He later got married with Janie McMillan and had three kids. He died At the age of 76 in 1985 in Burbank, California.



Wolfgang Reitherman worked for Walt Disney, and helped him create many of his famous movies. He helped him create some minor mickey mouse movies, The Jungle Book, Robinhood, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and Winnie the Pooh.
