Use this aid to guide your students or to prepare for the art activity in the First Lesson in Mini Masters program. 

Art Activity: Binoculars

Step 1. Color the tubes.

Step 2. Staple the tubes together.

Step 3. Make holes for the string.

Step 4. Tie the string.

Variation of the activity

Materials Toilet paper roll tubes (2 for each binoculars) String 24-36" for each binoculars Stapler Hole-punch Crayons 

Color the tubes

Ask the students to color the tubes to their liking.

Staple the tubes

Holding the tubes together staple inner edges at each end.

Punch holes

Use hole-punch to punch two holes on outer edges of each roll. 

Tie the string

Tie one end of string through each hole.

Variation of the activity

Prepare the "binoculars" in advance and give them to students to color them to their liking.
