PLEASE NOTE: It’s important to use both salt and rinse aid, even if you are using 3 in 1 dishwasher tablets.Ensure the appropriate cycle is being used, for example a short or mini programme is not going to clean as thoroughly as a longer intensive wash. This should be considered when trying to clean full or heavily soiled loads. To ensure your dishwasher continues to perform at an optimal level and to deliver clean, bacteria-free, sparkling dishes, it’s important to remember to regularly use a dishwasher cleaning product, for example Finish All in 1 dishwasher cleaner. We would recommend you do this at least once a month using a hot wash cycle. Depending on how dirty your dishes are, or whether you pre-rinse, it’s important to remove and wash the filter at least once a week to remove grease and food particles and to minimise any smells. The filter, which is situated in the bottom of the dishwasher, is easy to remove and with a quick run under a hot tap or dip in soapy water is clean and ready to go.If your dishwasher has removable spray arms, remove them and clean, along with the filters. Remember to regularly top up your dishwasher salt to the correct levels depending on the water hardness in your area. The instruction manual will provide more detail to support this. Even if the salt pot is full, if the hardness setting is incorrect, it won’t allow water hardness regeneration to occur often enough. The harder the water, the more often it needs to regenerate and soften the water. The salt pot can hold approximately 1.5kg of salt. The light will come on when it is low. When the salt is topped up, the light can remain on for a few cycles before it goes out.
