The average duration of this program is 3 months from thetime you arrive in country to the time you are signed off forindependent practice. You have arrived in Qatar as a qualifiedCritical Care Paramedic (CCP) and this Orientation Programwill orientate you to operating as a CCP within Qatar workingwithin the protocols of our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG). DHP LicenseAmbulance Service Mandated TrainingThe Ambulance Service mandates that each staff member completes the courseslisted below regularly. It is the responsibility of each staff member to maintaincompliance with these Safety Courses:Fire Safety: recertification required every year. This course can be reviewed andcompleted on eTaleem.Environmental Safety: recertification required every year. This course can bereviewed and completed on eTaleem.Infection Control: recertification required every two years. This course can be reviewedand completed on eTaleem.Take note: All completed course certificates must be emailed to the TrainingDepartment at (ASTraining@hamad.qa)Critical Care Services- (Charlie) Scheduling DepartmentCCS Scheduling will be notified that you have been signed off fromtraining. They will then contact you to deliver your schedule. Please continue to use your existing timecard and the biometric clocksystem to record your working hours for the current payroll cycle. Yoursigned current timecard must be submitted to the Training Department atthe end of the month for processing. Please be reminded to get yourtimecards co-signed by the Production Supervisor for all operationalduties completed.You must change your Oracle Supervisor from Training to your newsupervisor after the 15th of the month following the month in which youwere signed off. Update Mr. Kanhaiya(KSingh@hamad.qa) if you are unable to proceedwith this process.Once your DHP second stage application has beenapproved, update your license details on Oracleunder HMC employee Self-Service license details (fillin the license details and upload copy of your licenseand submit the request). Your DHP license is valid forone years from date of issue and you are solelyresponsible for renewal.

Please obtain a valid Police Clearance from your home country Get your home country police clearance stamped from the Ministry ofForeign Affairs (MOFA) office in Najma/C-ring road or whichever is close toyour accommodation. The cost is QR100 which must be paid by card.Get the MOI request letter from your focal point (this will be issued to thosewho got DHP stage one/ evaluation approval.Once your home country police clearance has been stamped by MOFA,please apply for Qatar Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) through Metrash2app (download Metrash2 App onto your phone).Make sure you have a credit card to make the online payment whileapplying for Qatar PCC. The cost is QR10.You can check the approval status of your application by logging in to theMetrash2 app. Approval usually takes one week. If your application isrejected/sent back, then kindly upload the documents requested by CIDpersonnel or visit CID office if you have been asked to do so.Once your application for Qatar PCC is approved, please visit the Ministry ofInterior, Criminal evidence and Information Department on Salwa road (firstright after Industrial Bridge if you are coming from Doha towards Bu Samra,take exit 15 and then first right then about 200m straight. It is a whitebuilding that will be on your right-hand side.
