BehaviorAnalysts are trained to help determine the functionof the behavior and provide behavior interventionstrategies based on assessment results. The BCBAcan recommend functionally equivalentreplacement behaviors for the individual in hopesto decrease their displays of challenging behavior.New Jersey’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has BCBAs who: 1.) Provide specialized behavioral trainings to residential and day program staff. 2.)
