The Hollister Haybaler Offensive staff spent most of the off season identifying learning and implementing an entirely new offense The Multiple Formation Wishbone Offense is what the offense will hang their hat on this year The offense allows for Power Deception and Speed Coach Bob Christmas from West Virginia and Coach Dave Bishop from Georgia supported the Haybaler staff in implementation through clinics and camps The Offense should have success not only because of the new and exciting offense but because the personnel the team returns fresh off a 2014 CCS Division 1 Championship Senior RJ Clark will lead the team at the Quarterback position RJ is a three year Varsity Football player who has 13 starts under his belt as QB He has improved his leadership skills is a dual threat at the position and is known for being tough and durable In the full house backfield you can expect to see junior Hunter Nye explode on to the scene As a sophomore last year Hunter rushed 93 times for 533 yards and 3 TD s Hunter is big physical and athletic Sophomore Johnny Gonzalez has been the surprise of camp earning the starting spot at full back Support will also come from senior Kyle Cameron who had a tremendous off season in the weight room Seniors Jackson Starke Marcus Guevara and Jonathon Mendoza will be part of what could be a three headed monster The Offense will move as far as the offensive lineman will take them as the run first philosophy is still intact with the new offense Returning senior All League Lineman Tristan Medina will lead the way by example His no nonsense nasty approach is what makes the Balers who we are Spencer Maes will join in as the other senior returning A group of juniors are fighting for spots as we move in to week 0 Marcos Flores and Vincent Chavez are battling it out at the center spot Blaize Solis Frank Chavez senior Mason Click and sophomore Daniel Pasillas will battle for the starting tackle positions Targets for RJ Clark are better than ever Senior All League Tackle Will Gularte is moving to the Tight End position where he should be able to use a variety of talents in both run blocking passing catching and being difficult to tackle in the open field Backup QB from last year senior Daniel Hopkins has moved to the Wide Receiver position and has done so with ease Senior Tyler Rodriguez has been a huge surprise at TE and will start opposite of Gularte Junior Dante Tomasini has excelled at learning the offense and will be clutch down the stretch Christian Cabada is a jack of all trades and is by far the most gifted athlete in the Haybaler Offense Playing both offense and defense will be Junior Isaac Regalado who has deceptive speed Head Coach Chris Cameron will be coaching the offensive lineman with support from returning Haybaler Alum Coach Chris Evans Running Backs coach and personnel control on game nights is Haybaler Alum Coach Todd Freitas Wide Receivers Tight End s Coach and up in the booth on game nights is Teacher Coach Bob Rawles Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks coach is Haybaler Alum Coach Bryan Smith The players and staff have been working hard for another successful season and are excited to kick off the season GO BALERS 29
