2024 Annual Report2 2024 Annual Report2“Strength in unity propels our mission at Building One Community (B1C). When we stand together, we create opportunities, build brighter futures, and empower our immigrant neighbors to thrive. Together, we make the impossible possible.” — Elena Perez
2024 Annual Report 3 we reflect on 2024, one theme stands out—Strength in Unity. This year, amid growth and challenges, we have seen the profound impact of collective action. Your steadfast support has allowed us to strengthen and expand our programs, empowering over 5,100 individuals—a remarkable 11% increase from the previous year. More than just rising participation, we saw individuals embracing multiple services, discovering firsthand the holistic, transformative support that turned a single visit into life-changing opportunities.Beyond our core programs, 2024 was also a year of preparation. As the nation transitioned to a new administration that has a less than welcoming stance on immigration, B1C took a leadership role—not just for our participants, but for our partner organizations and the community at large. Recognizing the challenges that lie ahead, our staff and board worked tirelessly to create events and programs that inform and empower immigrants and their supporters living in this shifting immigration landscape. While navigating uncertainty, we remain committed to this vital leadership role, moving forward together with unwavering dedication. No matter what immigration changes arise, B1C will remain a guiding force, working hand-in-hand with our community to shape a future that is inclusive and welcoming for all. Your support makes this possible, and for that, we are deeply grateful.Strength in Unity is more than a theme; it is the foundation of our work. It is the driving force behind our dedicated team, the collaboration with our partners and supporters, and the resilience of our participants. It is what makes progress possible. Thank you for standing with us.Together, we lead. Together, we advance. Together, we are Building One Community. With gratitude and hope,OUR MISSION: Building One Community’s mission is to advance the successful integration of immigrants and their families.Dear Friends & Supporters,HON.
