Advocacy for Immigrants Leading Change Transforming Lives B1C is making great strides to ensure that immigrants have access to the resources and services they need but more work is needed to ensure everyone receives adequate opportunities One way we work to expand opportunities is by sharing knowledge and discussing solutions We did this in 2022 at our annual Benefit Breakfast highlighting immigrant success stories and at our fall Colloquium Another way we open up pathways to success is through advocacy of initiatives like the expansion of HUSKY insurance for all immigrants regardless of status and through the expansion of our immigration law practice With these and other initiatives we are working toward a fair system with opportunities for all FOREIGN BORN POPULATION LIVING IN 8 2022 Annual Report 14 22 33 Connecticut Fairfield County Stamford
