Many of us see this assomething that anchors us, yet it is also the cause of poorsleep, acne, unbalanced hormones and a sluggish liver. Give your liver some love! Day 1:Full Day Cleanse Breakfast: 2 or more Apples 10 glasses of warm ginger tea. Lunch & Dinner: Steamed veggies with no sauce or spices- add fresh coriander or parsley. *If you are struggling on day one you may include a greenjuice or kombucha.Tumeric tea, sleep early and avoid tech after sunset. However, when the taste buds are blocked, foodmay be unrecognizable and the receptors in the tongue become unable toconvey the right messages to your brain. A vicious circle of poor digestionstarts. 1. You can use your neti pot over a sink or bowl; in the shower; or outside. 2. Prepare the solution: it is recommended you use distilled water, or boilyour own tap water (let it cool before using.). Use warm water. Use the ratioof ½ to 1 teaspoon of salt to two cups of water. This results in the body’s ownsaline ratio of 0.9%. Stir it well into the warm water. 4. Begin the flush: just lean over your bowl or sink, tilt the head sideways soyour face is horizontal, insert the neti pot spout into the upper nostril. Be surethe spout is fully inserted so water cannot leak out that nostril. Open yourmouth and breathe through your mouth while you gently pour. 5. After a few seconds, the water will begin to stream out of the lower nostril. 6. Use half your solution in the first nostril; save the remainder for thesecond. 7. In between nostrils, you can stand upright and GENTLY blow your nose toclear it. 8. If some water drains into your throat, it’s OK. Simply spit it out. Work on our technique and the angle of your head till the water remains flowingonly in and out of the nasal passages. How Often Should I Use a Neti Pot? Most people develop a routine of flushing their sinuses either morning ornight. 1. Begin brushing by starting at your feet and moving in long sweepingmotions toward your heart. Always brush toward your heart.2. Brush several times in each area, overlapping as you go.3. Take care as you brush over more sensitive areas, like breasts. Yourskin will become less sensitive the more you dry brush.4. Once you've brushed your entire body, jump in the shower. (I like toalternate between the hottest water temperature I can tolerate and thecoldest. This stimulates blood circulation, bringing more blood to the toplayers of the skin.)7. After getting out of the shower, pat dry skin and apply a natural fruitoil like rose hip or coconut oil.8. Continue to dry brush your entire body every day.
