Message PNG Mission Wireless Intercom SystemsEnhancing Situational Awareness
The Axnes PNG is a multi-platform wireless intercom system that providesa robust, reliable & secure wireless communications link, to small teamsoperating in very high noise environments. Designed to operate in themost hostile of environments, Axnes has been the trusted brand inwireless intercom systems for over 25 years. The PNG Base Stations easily integrate with existing wired intercomsystems or operate as an independent mobile communications bubble, closing the gap between the platform and the operators. With a numberof systems available that are both software definable and missionreconfigurable, the PNG systems provide a secure communications link tocomplex mission teams operating in the most hostile environments allover the globe in every environmental condition imaginable. Axnes holdsEASA Part 21 & Part 145 approvals along with AS9100 & ISO 9001certifications. Over 25 years of Wireless Intercom Operations

Originally designed as a hub and spoke communications extensionsystem for the helicopter search and rescue industry. The Axnes PNGprovides a constant, self healing, full duplex communications link toall members of the team. Differing from traditional radio systems, the full duplex technologyprovides a constant link with the wired intercom & role radios of thehost platform. With military specific systems developed and fielded, the Axnes PNG systems provide a wide range of user case scenarioswhere robust communication & situational awareness is vital. The installed base station integrates to an existing hard wired intercom system or can functionas the intercom backbone, depending on the platform, user case and mission profile. Whenfully integrated, the base station allows the handsets to both send and receive on role radiosand remain within the communications loop throughout the mission. Installed systems are typically utilized across a range of applications including SAR or HEMShelicopters, tactical vehicles, fixed wing SAR/Surveillance or military aircraft. Mobile systems are typically used by teams that operate across multipleairframes such as LIMSAR, heavy-lift, general aviaiton, HEMS and policespecial operations, through to any small team requiring full duplex, closedloop, communication in high-noise & high-risk operations. The mobile systems operate via, direct power supply or installed batteries, making the mobile concept a true carry on carry off system. The simpleplug and play design allows the mobile systems to rapidly integrate acrossmultiple assets. The Base Station is connected to the aircraft intercom system, handsets are worn by the crewto provide a secure wireless communication link between all members of the rescue teamincluding; Pilot, Hoist Operator, Rescue Crew, Doctor, Paramedic, etc. Advanced features include:Airframe role radio Rx/Tx capabilityGPS tracking & dynamic target identificationMission Map and Search Light integrationHandset identificationMute/Broadcast Isolated Group capabilityRemote AIS SART frequency activation Concept of Operations - Helicopter Search & Rescue
Concept of Operations - Small BoatsThe base station is integrated to the console of the vessel with a MUX 5 radio mixing unitintegrating role radios allowing long range radio transmission. Ni-VOX technology isparticularly useful in small boats that experience high wind noise and weapon system noise inclose environments. With IP68 handsets and headset solutions available, the Axnes PNG ishighly suited to both civilian and military open and closed cockpit applications. The CP50 & BST50 Aviation Base Station operates an a interface to the existingICS providing a wireless full duplex encrypted link, the BST50 facilitates a GPSdata signal & remote AIS SART signal capabilities. The BST30 & BST35 are mobile versions of the PNG base station, designed tooperate as a standalone base or connected to an existing intercom system. TheBST30 is powered via 11 to 33VDC connection. The BST35 contains a lithium-ion10 hour internal battery that can also accept platform power supply. Highlysuited to civilian applications such as carry on carry of helicopters, installed intomaritime vessels or other mobile team applications. The BST10 is a lightweight simple base station designed as an entry levelproduct for teams who need close in communications. The BST10 provides halfduplex connection to the airframe & full duplex connection to the handsets.Designed for Air Ambulance or VIP flights, the BST10 is also a steppingstoneproduct for teams that are planning on airframe upgrades in the future. Civilian Certified Base Staitons
The MP30 is IP67 rated handsets that is typically supplied with a US Nato headsetconnection, suited to almost any role that does not typically enter the water.Available with or without GPS and Bluetooth integration capabilities, the MP30 is ahighly flexible entry level handset with the supreme clarity and Non-Interrupted VOXthat makes Axnes the trusted brand in wireless intercom systems. The MP50 is the high-end civilian handset, designed for all weather helicopter SARoperations. The MP50 operates as a dual band marine VHF radio with GPS tracking &AIS SART transmission capabilities that can be actioned from the BST50/CP50 systemin the helicopter. Civilian Certified Handsets
The Mux 5 is a radio mixing unit that is both user and software definable.Designed to integrate with a range of the Axnes base stations, the MUX5 allowsup to 5 radios to connect to the Axnes systems, therefore expanding thebackbone architecture. Typically used in maritime applications such as opencockpit police or military fast boats, the MUX5 is IP68 waterproof. Otherapplications include small vehicles that do not have an existing hardwiredintercom system or mounted in a hard case with a stand alone power supply. The MUX 5 can isolate radios, manage volumes and isolate the Axnes side fromthe single panel.
