1Happy Spring!Here at Community Education we are excited to say goodbye to winter for now and move into the warmer months! We have a lot of fun activities planned, and we hope to see many of you enjoying them with us. Check out the three great options to enjoy Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch. You can enjoy a wagon ride and delicious dinner around a campre where you will have the opportunity to showcase your karaoke skills or be entertained by others if you are a little shy! You can attend the super popular Foam Dance Party, or you can come for a day on the ranch and try out ziplining and other activities! There truly is something for everyone.Back in Rochester, we invite you to come and check out our new garden at Northrop. We will plant some veggies and owers, and you can check on their progress over the following weeks. After getting our planting done, we will reward ourselves with some ice cream at our brand-new outdoor pavilion.These are just a small sample of what you will nd in this season’s catalog, so make sure to check out every page! We are always on the lookout for new activities and ideas, so please remember to let us know if there is anything you would like us to offer that you don’t see in the book. The evening is launched by a scenic tractor ride out to Ironwood’s picturesque Chuck Wagon barbecue picnic area, but the fun does not end there! What is a foam dance party? A foam dance party is just that—a party surrounded by foam! This is a full sensory experience lled with good music, delicious food, and foam fun! This pile of foam, which Ironwood calls “The Foam Zone,” will create the ideal environment for you and your community friends to make lifelong memories. High-energy and family-friendly music makes the experience the perfect party atmosphere. Dance the evening away as you and your friends build foam snowmen, pile foam on your heads, create sweet new foam hairdos, and stand underneath the “foam rainbow” created by the foam cannon. Rather than having a $15 discount applicable to classes, depending upon your coverage, members will now have $45 annually or $100 quarterly on a Healthy Benets+ Visa card to apply towards community education courses.You received a letter from UCare in early December explaining all the details, but we wanted to remind you about this change. This change means that depending upon your plan, you may have up to $100 you can spend each quarter, becoming available on January 1st , April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st. The cost of your chosen classes can be deducted directly from your Visa card. And, this money must be spent within the quarter or is lost.Please refer to UCare’s December letter for details, including numbers to call for help and information.
