DIRECTOR’S NOTES I had seen AVENUE Q three mes, and laughed hysterically every me, prior to geng the call to direct the show for the Barn. I was very surprised to realize that the group had never done the show before, especially since it won the Tony Awards for Best Musical, Book and Score in 2004. The fact that we, the cast and sta, know all of the lines and songs by now and are sll laughing in rehearsals tells you the Tony voters got it right 21 years ago. Our audions turned out an overow of very talented actors, and tonight you’re about to see the best of the best. I’m bursng with pride for my actors, orchestra and sta, and I can’t wait to hear your reacon to our eorts. I hope you enjoy AVENUE Q as much as we did bringing it to you! Thank you for coming out to see this wonderful producon!! Steve Arcidiacono

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST Brian Belo (Bad Idea Bear and Newcomer) - Brian is excited to be back in his second show with the Barn! He rst performed with the Barn as Warner in Legally Blonde. His prior roles include Seymour in Lile Shop of Horrors, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and Lord Farquaad in Shrek The Musical. He would like to thank his wife Sarah for her never-ending love and support! Enjoy your stay on Avenue Q! Akayla Butler (Gary Coleman) - Akayla is excited to be parcipang in her rst show with The Barn Playhouse. She has previously performed roles in A Christmas Carol, The Prom, and Titanc: The Musical. She’d like to thank her family and friends for their connued support and is excited to parcipate in more producons in the future. Alan Ellinger (Brian) - Aer ve years of being o the stage, Alan is ecstac to make his Barn Playhouse debut in Avenue Q! Alan’s love of theater started in high school, where he starred in many shows such as Amelié, Legally Blonde, and The Theory of Relavity. He would like to thank his husband Nolan for his support and for encouraging him to get back on stage, as well as the cast and crew for being so welcoming and kind (and so talented)! Alan also thanks you, the viewer, for supporng the arts, and hopes you enjoy the show! Rob Frankel (Nicky) - Rob has a knack for waing ll the last minute to write these things and sll can never seem to come up with anything worthwhile. Does it maer? No, cause you’re not interested in my life, you’re just trying to pass me unl the curtain opens. Sing there wondering if we’ll start on me or not (spoiler alert: we won’t). As always, hearts & farts to all my family & friends and a huge shout out to Leeloo Dallas Mulpass for always staring blankly at me wagging her tail as I recite lines to her. Now, it's me to play the music, it's me to light the lights… Jim Fryer (Trekkie Monster) - This is Jim's rst me on stage at the hallowed Barn, but not his rst me playing his beloved Trekkie Monster. Jim's last role was in Hamlet (PCS Swarthmore) as the young lad's dead Dad. Other roles include Sir Toby Belch in Twelh Night the Musical, for Jenkintown Musical Theater and Don Pedro in Much Ado

Jenn Hsiao (Christmas Eve) - It does not suck to be Jenn performing at the Barn Playhouse for the rst me. Thank you to the cast, crew, and producon sta for making her feel welcome. Onstage favorites include Avenue Q (Christmas Eve), The Producers (Hold me, Touch me) and Oliver (Mrs. Sowerberry) at Music Mountain Theatre. Jusn Lamphere (Rod) - Jusn is so excited to kick o his me at the Barn this season starng with Avenue Q! At the Barn, some of his notable roles include Quasimodo (Hunchback), Nigel (Something Roen!), and recently, Commander Khashoggie (We Will Rock You). You can catch him later this season in his parents’ producon of Shrek The Musical in August and The Play That Goes Wrong in October! He would like to thank his family and friends for their support and the enre cast, crew, and producon team for making his fantasies of doing this show, especially with them, come true for him.

He would also like to apologize to his parents and Nana for what they are about to see. Emily Murphy (Ricky and Puppet Assistant) - Emily is happy to lend a hand to Avenue Q for her h Barn show.
