As we close another quarter and financial year, it’s time to take stock and marvel at the resilience of Australia’s auto industry, which continues to be one of the most competitive markets for brands in the world. However, the new and pre-owned vehicle markets are their own beasts, and while recent VFACTS data saw relatively new Chinese brands GWM and BYD cement their place in the top 10 new vehicle sales race, pre-owned sales continue to reflect buyer interest in legacy players and technologies, as EVs continue to struggle to find traction. In this new report, we’ll discuss and analyse some of the key trends shaping online auto retailing in Q2 to help you stay ahead of our market’s ever-changing conditions and shifting consumer interests. Speaking of driving sales success, we’re pleased to launch two new useful features across our Gumtree Cars, CarsGuide and Autotrader brands, designed to help you attract more buyers and better showcase your inventory.
