UPDATES FROM BALL STATE UNIVERSITY
Fall 2025 ApplicantsIt’s that time of the year! Our Fall 2025 application is ocially open! Students can learn more about our admissions requirements here and apply online using our Ball State application or the Common App. Waivers are available upon request for students experiencing nancial hardships. Ball State Select Nominees ApplicationWe are excited to provide free admissions applications to Ball State Select Nominees! Students who receive this special oer are not guaranteed admission; however, they are not required to pay the $60 application fee and will receive an admissions decision within three weeks once all required materials are received.Click on the boxes below to learn more about the application process:When applying on the Common App, students can select from the fee waiver options: “I am a Ball State Select Nominee Recipient” for their free application. When applying with the Ball State application as a Select Nominee using the email we have on le, students will not be directed to a payment page in order to submit their application.

Final High School TranscriptsTo ensure a seamless transition into the Fall 2024 semester for incoming Cardinals, we’ve communicated with recent graduates from your school who plan to enroll at Ball State and requested that they submit their nal high school transcript if they haven’t already done so. We’re unable to disburse nancial aid until their nal high school transcript with a listed graduation date is received. We’ll continue to reach out to your students to remind them to submit their transcript. In the meantime, you can use Slate.org to see which students have submitted their nal transcripts and which students have not. Indiana House Enrolled ActStarting this academic year, a new requirement of Indiana House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1002-2023 requires that all students in grades 11 and 12 have a 30-minute Career Discovery Meeting with an approved postsecondary educational institution,intermediary, employer, or labor organization to discuss future career opportunities and their necessary education levels. These meetings must be attended individually or in small groups of ve or less. For assistance, our admissions sta is happy to help you and your students in meeting this requirement. Important Dates:

THE LATEST IN OURCARDINAL COMMUNITYFor ve years, Eaton Corporation faced a stubborn issue with their electrical breaker box assembly line that even the experts couldn’t solve. Enter Lindsey Herrera, a recent graduate in the Ball State Dual-Degree Engineering program. During Lindsey’s summer internship, she dedicated herself to identifying the issue by working directly with the design and manufacturing teams. Student HighlightWe’re Oering New Majors Starting this fall, our students can study Forensic Science. Our program is Indiana’s only comprehensive Forensic Science program with four unique concentration areas including behavioral, biological, chemical, and digital forensics. In addition, Ball State is also introducing the following areas of study: Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Physician’s Assistant, and Strategic Communication – Sports Concentration. Lindsey’s commitment to the project and her expansive education in engineering allowed her to solve the issue within just two months and even land a full-time position from another company before graduating this past May.Learn more about our Dual-Degree Engineering program here.
