UPDATES FROM BALL STATE UNIVERSITY
Our Fall 2024 application has recently opened so your eager, futureCardinals may have already applied. Students can learn more aboutour admissions requirements here and apply online using our Ball State application or the Common App. Waivers are available uponrequest for students experiencing nancial hardships.FALL 2024 APPLICATIONSWe are excited to continue providing free admission applications toselect students called the Ball State Fast App. Students sent thisapplication are those that have previously indicated interest in BallState—it does not guarantee admission. The Ball State Fast App is thesame application that any other student completes; the only dierenceis they’re not required to pay the $60 application fee. When applyingon the Common App, students can select from the fee waiver options:“I am a Ball State Fast App Recipient” for their free application.For a better understanding of how we share this opportunity, you canview the original email sent to students about the Ball State Fast Appby clicking the download button. We have contacted recent graduates from your schoolwho plan to enroll at Ball State University in the Fall 2023semester and asked them to submit their nal high schooltranscripts if they have not already done so. We’re unableto disburse nancial aid until their nal high schooltranscript with a listed graduation date is received.We’ll continue to reach out to your students to remindthem to submit their transcript. In the meantime, you canuse Slate.org to see which students are complete vs. still missing nal transcripts.We oer a variety of ways to explore our campus.In-person tours, led by current students, are available for prospective students and their families. BALL STATE IN THE NEWSThe popularity of Esports continues to take ight at BSU. With over 800 students participating in the student-run club and more than 50 varsity players, our program was recently selected as the best among more than 3,000 academic institutions in the nation as Program of the Year. Learn more about our Esports program here. EXPERIENCE BSU DAYThis past July, Ball State University hosted Experience BSU Day. This event allowed rising seniors to experience what it’s like to be a Ball State Cardinal. Students attended mock classes taught by faculty, engaged with current students, and learned more about what’s next in the admissions process.FRESHMAN ORIENTATIONBall State University is excited to welcome our new Cardinals this fall! Our Freshman Orientation program oered our incoming students a chance to tour campus, meet other future Cardinals, and sign up for their rst semester courses!
