By: Aryan Kumar

Tim Burton is a great animator and I like him for many reasons. One reason is that Tim was in the making of my favorite show, Gravity Falls. Another reason I like him is because he also made the first batman and one of my favorite movies was Batman Forever which he made in 1995. Also, he made the movie Planet of the Apes which was an awesome movie which I and my friends thought was amazing. One more reason why I like him is because he made the series of Beetlejuice and that was one of my favorite shows. Lastly, I like him in conclusion because he was the top producer of most of my favorite series, movies, and much, much more.

Reasons why I like Tim Burton

Timothy Walter Burton was born in Burbank, California. He spent most of his childhood as a recluse, drawing cartoons, and watching old movies. After graduating from high school, he attended California Institute of the Arts. Like so many others who graduated from that school, Burton's first job was as an animator for Disney.

His early film career was filled with good luck. He worked on such films as The Fox and the Hound (1981) and The Black Cauldron (1985), but had some creative differences with his partners. Nevertheless, Disney recognized his talent, and gave him the green light to make Vincent (1982). Burton made a few other short films, including his first live-action film, Frankenweenie (1984). But actor Paul Reubens saw Frankenweenie (1984), and believed that Burton would be the right man to direct him in his first full-length feature film, Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985).

His Biography

Beetlejuice (1988) was a big hit, and Burton's name in Hollywood was stuck. Warner Bros. then entrusted him with Batman (1989). Due to the fantastic success of his first three films, he was given to make his next film, any kind of film he wanted. That film that he did was Edward Scissorhands (1990). Burton's next film was Batman Returns (1992). While working on Batman Returns (1992), he also produced the popular The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). Burton made the film Ed Wood (1994). Burton's film, Mars Attacks! (1996).

Burton returned with the film Sleepy Hollow (1999). The film was praised for its art direction and was successful, financially. His next film was Planet of the Apes (2001). Also, Burton directed the film Big Fish (2003) and it received good reviews. He made another film called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Despite the fluctuations in his career, Burton proved himself to be one of the most popular directors of the late 20th century.
