Team Biographies Craig Roddy Director Institutional Consulting Group Craig joined Artifex Financial Group in January of 2015 as Director of Institutional Consulting Mr Roddy brings 33 years of institutional money management investment consulting and financial management analysis experience to clients As Director of Institutional Consulting Mr Roddy is responsible for developing managing and implementing capital market assumptions investment manager due diligence process money manager recommended list and asset allocation strategies for defined contribution 401 k defined benefit not for profit 403b as well as foundation and endowments Previously Mr Roddy served as Director Investment Consulting Group at a local Institutional Consulting Firm where he established policy and procedures related to setting investment direction manager due diligence capital market assumptions and established and maintained ICG s recommended list of separately managed accounts SMA S and mutual funds While Director of ICG Mr Roddy had oversight responsibility of asset under management AUM in excess of one billion Mr Roddy s experience extends to consulting to publicly traded companies Union Non Union DC and DB Plans As Vice President of Investments at Legg Mason Mr Roddy specialized in implementing and maintaining sophisticated asset allocation strategies for private and institutional clients At Deloitte Touch Mr Roddy specialized in financial reporting tax planning cash management accounting services auditing and investment analysis services Mr Roddy received his B S in Accounting from Wright State University and is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania s Wharton Business School Senior Investment Consultant Certification CIMA program 14

Team Bio s Doug Kinsey CFP AIFA Managing Partner CIO Doug Kinsey is a partner in Artifex Financial Group a fee only financial planning and investment management firm based in Dayton Ohio Doug has over 25 years experience in financial services and has been a CFP Certificant since 1999 Additionally he holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst certifications as well as Certified Divorce Financial Analyst Doug s passion for financial planning is rooted in investments He read books on investing as a child and has always found the idea of learning about companies discovering new ideas and finding hidden values to be extremely exciting He does not believe in the abuses of Modern Portfolio Theory or an over reliance on statistics and indexing Active management is not dead but the way it is approached should be Common sense and careful investing are what is required to be a successful investor Artifex Financial Group was founded in 2007 by Doug and his business partner Darren Harp Artifex currently advises over 90 000 000 in assets and serves 200 client households and corporate pension plans In addition to personal financial advice AFG provides active investment management back office solutions process improvement strategies and employee development consulting to financial advisory firms 15
