Page 4Chair LetterWhitney BraselVice President of Operations, SSM Health DePaul HospitalDear Chamber Members,Spring is here — a season of growth, renewal, and as we recently witnessed, incredible generosity.Last month, our community was tested when damaging storms swept through North County. But true to our spirit, whatfollowed was not discouragement — it was action. On March 23, more than 60 volunteers came together in a powerful display ofunity for our North County Community Cleanup Drive, supporting neighbors impacted by the storms. This effort was a joint partnership between the Chamber, North County Inc. (NCI), and several local municipalities, and itbeautifully embodied what the Chamber is all about — bringing people together in service and solidarity. In addition to the cleanup effort, the Chamber and NCI also hosted a donation drive, collecting much-needed items for thoseimpacted — another incredible reflection of our community’s heart. And the impact didn’t go unnoticed: our collective effortswere featured multiple times in local news coverage, shining a light on the strength and compassion that defines North County.A heartfelt thank you to:• The VFW in Florissant for hosting and supporting us so generously• Catering To You and Old Town Florissant for providing lunch• Old Town Donuts for energizing our volunteers with breakfast• Helfer’s Bakery for the sweet cookie send-off• The many officials and leaders who rolled up their sleeves with us, including Mayor Tim Lowery, St. Louis Countycouncilwoman Shalonda Webb, Rebecca Zoll (NCI), and our very own Chamber President, Jaime Jenkins.Your partnership, presence, and passion made a lasting difference. This event was more than a cleanup — it was a statement. That North County comes together in times of need. That we take careof one another. And that this Chamber is not just a network — it’s a community rooted in purpose. As we look ahead, we hope you’ll join us for more opportunities to connect and celebrate:• Off the Clock – April 11• Scholarship Luncheon – April 17• Music Trivia Night – April 27 (SOLD OUT!)Together for a stronger North County,Whitney BraselChairwoman, Greater North County Chamber of Commerce
