4ST. BRENDAN HIGH SCHOOL | www.stbrendanhigh.org/supportJOSE RODELGO-BUENO, PH.D.Dear Sabre family,I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generosity in contributing to the 2019-2020 Annual Fund. We have been able to continue renovating our school and, for that, I thank you. This has been a challenging year. The pandemic brought many struggles, but our community showed many examples of true charity, resilience, and unity. The diffi cult circumstances that our students had to endure made them grow in character and faith. I could say the same of their families and also about our alumni. Our faculty and staff also had to reinvent their jobs to meet the needs of our students and community through these virtual times. I want to commend you, members of our Sabre nation, for all the great examples you have shown during the pandemic. I also want to acknowledge that the generous contributions of our families, alumni, faculty, and staff were able to bring many improvements to our school. All the pipes, sewer system, and bathrooms were completely re-done. Even the hallways were renovated! To ensure the safety of our students upon their return, we also installed plexiglass screens throughout the entire school, acquired temperature scans, and implemented measures to ensure the healthiest and safest environment possible for our school community. As always, we will continue praying for you and your loved ones. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family. Sincerely yours in Christ, Jose Rodelgo-Bueno, Ph.D.PrincipalLETTER FROMTHE PRINCIPAL

8ST. BRENDAN HIGH SCHOOL | www.stbrendanhigh.org/supportLETTER FROMTHE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORMICHAEL J. MCCABE, MBADear Sabre Community, On behalf of the Development Offi ce, it is with great pleasure that I write to report on St. Brendan High School’s fi scal year ending June 2020. During this pivotal year of growth, our community came together and made great strides that deserve to be recognized. The many contributions received in time, talent and resources provided exceptional opportunities for our students to prepare for college and grow in faith. We are deeply grateful to all of our supporters listed in this Annual Report of Giving. Their actions underscore a commitment to St. Brendan’s institutional needs. Last year’s Sabre Fund received $181,873 for the period of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. This total represents a one percent increase in charitable giving over the previous year, despite year-end challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many thanks to all of our Parent Ambassadors, Faculty, Staff and Administration who supported our efforts during the year. A special thank you is extended to the Development and Alumni Relations team of Steve Piscitelli, Tracey Taylor and Sydney Anazco ’13 for all your hard work. Several of last year’s initiatives deserve to be celebrated. The fall #GivingTuesday social media mini-campaign raised $16,150 and the spring #DayofGiving mini-campaign successfully raised $17,482 in support of both tuition assistance and operations. Also, the B Capital Campaign continued to receive meaningful pledges to help fund new construction and renovations on campus. We are excited to put these donations to good use, and we look forward to meeting with more Sabre families in the coming year so that we may continue to enhance our facilities and outcomes.Looking forward to 2020-2021, we ask for your philanthropic support so that we may continue to expand our curriculum, bolster our fi nancial aid reserves and enhance our learning environment. At the time of this publication, Sabre Fund contributions from over 190 families have already totaled nearly $114,000. We invite you to invest in our students and our future by either giving online or by sending in your contribution using the envelope provided. Thank you for your past and future support of St. Brendan High School. We proudly recognize and honor the following contributors whose outstanding generosity and charitable spirit demonstrates a commitment to ensuring the fi nest level of Catholic education available. Best Regards,Michael J. McCabe, MBADevelopment Director

20ST. BRENDAN HIGH SCHOOL | www.stbrendanhigh.org/supportLETTER FROMTHE ALUMNI DIRECTORSTEVE PISCITELLI, MPADear Alumni,It is an understatement to say that 2020 has proven to be a most unusual year indeed. Despite the Pandemic, and all the challenges it has presented, it is wonderful to state that Alumni giving reached an all-time high in this past 2019-2020 campaign. What a wonderful tribute to our Alumni that, despite facing diffi cult times in so many ways, Sabre Alumni still stepped up and topped the $78,000.00 mark for the fi rst time in school history. In addition, over 225 Alumni donated this year, another all-time high.In the past three years, Alumni giving has doubled, increasing 37% this past year alone. The number of Alumni donors has doubled as well in the same period. What a testament to the spirit of giving back that you, our Alumni, are expressing in these most unusual times. It is truly overwhelming to witness the renewed sense of pride Alumni are exhibiting as St. Brendan High School continues its journey forward, as our number of applications and overall enrollment break new ground each year.Thank you so much for being a part of your alma mater’s amazing transformation. I know that we will move ahead with your continued help and support. Please accept my gratitude in advance for giving back to the place that you can always call home. Warmest regards to all Sabre Alumni,Mr. PiscitelliAlumni DirectorLaw & Global Business Academy Director
