AMOCA continued to be a hub for artistic expression, education, and communityengagement in 2023. From hosting innovative exhibitions that showcased both historicaland contemporary ceramic works, to offering hands-on workshops and demonstrationsthat allowed our visitors to explore their own creativity, AMOCA has remained a vitalresource for art lovers of all ages.In 2023 we collaborated with artists and educators, welcomed visitors for exhibitionopenings and artist talks, visited school sites with our MudMobile, and expanded ourcollection with stunning new acquisitions. Our programs, made possible by thegenerosity of donors and volunteers, have connected people to the beauty of ceramicsand the rich cultural heritage that they represent. I am continually grateful to ourdedicated staff – all of AMOCA’s progress would not be possible without their invaluablework ethic, artistry, and passion. Thank you to our fabulous team of volunteers whoworks with us to welcome visitors, lead tours, help with events, and organize ourcollections. AMOCA also owes a debt of gratitude to our Board of Directors who helpguide and support our work.As you read through this report, I hope you feel the same sense of pride that we do in themuseum’s achievements. None of this would have been possible without your invaluablecontributions – through donations, memberships, or simply by visiting our exhibitionsand spreading the word about our remarkable museum here in Pomona.
