AlternativeProvisionAt Invictus we are values driven and as such believe ‘anything is possible’. Our alternative provision estate supports learners to share the same ethos, young people who are most vulnerable are supported to STRIVE, ACHIEVE and THRIVE.Every day, in every way our students come rst. Our dedicated team of sta hold this value at the heart of their practice, ensuring that a child centred approach informs actions that raise levels of self-condence, attainment and wellbeing amongst the learners in our care. As a trust we have invested heavily in the capital development of our Greenhill site, the transformation is now complete and boasts a range of facilities including outdoor gym, new classrooms, science lab, art studio, hall, kitchen, locker room and consult spaces. The increased square footage places us well to increase our intake of young people going forward.Revive Learning Centre is going from strength to strength since its launch in January 2022, this setting is proving successful in breaking the cycle of school avoidance; creating a bridge between alternative provision and reintegration into education. Both provisions ensure young people at risk of exclusion, or those with who refuse school are hosted in inviting, well-resourced learning environments and are supported by a network of skilful sta. Our commitment to student attendance is evidenced by our recent acquisition of new minibuses; a driver is on standby to bring those furthest away to either of our sites.I invite you to peruse this prospectus and discover how our approaches can deliver outstanding outcomes for young people. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how we can collaborate for the mutual benet of your students and your school/ local authority.Mr C Bennett DIRECTOR OF ALTERNATIVE PROVISIONWELCOME WELCOME TO THE INVICTUS ALTERNATIVE PROVISION PROSPECTUS, OUTLINING VARIOUS STUDENT PATHWAYS AVAILABLE FOR COMMISSIONING ACROSS OUR 2 DEDICATED CENTRES: GREENHILL ALTERNATIVE LEARNING CAMPUS AND INVICTUS REVIVE CENTRE. 8 www.apinvictus.co.uk EXPERIENCESIn our ever-changing world elasticity is needed from young people. The ability to try and bounce back in the face of adversity or when challenged are the key skills required for success. At Greenhill and Revive sports and social skills building sessions are a mainstay of our curriculum, these activities promote such characteristics. Squad time, weekly enrichment visits, DofE, PSHE and ASDAN courses are the approaches used to equip young people with the social and leadership qualities that are required to enrich pupils as a whole. The Duke of Edinburgh Award is utilised to promote independence, resilience and grit. Students are taken out of their normal environment to undertake hiking, navigation and camp craft. Year 11 concludes with two expeditions; here students are remotely supervised as they conquer dicult terrains and venture along routes they have planned. Enterprise is used as the vehicle to equip our Revive students with the condence, drive and transferable work skills they need to succeed in their adult life. Student trade fayres and pop up markets in the community give young people a chance to be outward facing and sell their products. For many, this is their rst chance to shine and experience success.Building Resilience and GritBuilding Cultural CapitalThrough ExperiencesWarner Bros StudiosTrimpley ReservoirLondon DungeonsWyre Forest Habberley TrailCreationDudley ZooBoundless AdventureMalthouse StablesRSC Stratford TheatreThe Arley EstateHyde ParkIcon GalleryMark Butler’s Golf AcademyDigbeth Arts QuarterBodenham Arboretum Carding Mill ValleyPaul Campbell’s gymSavage AdventuresWest Midlands Safari ParkThe Long MyndBirmingham Museum and Art GalleryLorna’s Art AcademyThe Knife AngelSea Life CentreNational Trust SitesBeatsabar GolfCanyoningDofE ExpeditionsNavigationPersonal TrainingClimbingZip LineCrate StackingGo KartingIce SkatingFishing Bush CraftGrati WorkshopStudio TimePaddle Boarding

GREENHILLGreenhill Alternative Learning CampusSTRIVE | ACHIEVE | THRIVE12 www.apinvictus.co.uk Our multi-disciplinary team consists of accomplished teaching sta, AP practitioners and a committed SENDCo . We strive to provide excellent levels of pastoral care and academic support to help learners of all abilities achieve their aspirations, regardless of the barriers they face. Greenhill is a lively, innovative and caring environment that promotes success, active citizenship and focusses on achieving outcomes of benet to students and our partner schools. The array of curriculum pathways on oer provide a route of study for all who engage; this condent statement is justied by our commitment to never have more than 35 learners on site at any one time. This results in high levels of attainment, additional needs support and the acquisition of qualications and skills. The Leasowes High School founded initiative has a proven track record for delivering alternative learning which enriches the lives of those it supports. A personalised approach that tailors learning to the individuals needs is the basis for success at Greenhill. We work alongside our families and mainstream schools and the length of time that a student is with us is dictated entirely by the personal need of that student. For a small number, these will be shorter placements. For many a much longer placement is required because of the profound need of the student concerned. The team look forward to welcoming learners to our provision from across the Dudley, Sandwell, Worcestershire and Birmingham boroughs following a half a million-capital redevelopment of the site. Contact Greenhill to commission a student placement today. The Greenhill approach is renowned for implementing innovative, proactive and fast paced strategies when working with young people. This is evident by our success rates in ensuring learners gain qualications and progress to post 16 education and or training. In 2022 100% of young people progressed to post 16 education. 91% of year 11’s in 2022 achieved GCSEs in both English and Maths, 64% of the cohort achieved 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9 – 1.

REVIVE CENTREInvictusRevive CentreOur new provision is reviving young people’s desire to want to learn and engage positively with others. Students benet from a much smaller setting and a work related/enterprise curriculum blended with GCSEs and enrichment opportunities. Enterprise is a popular part of the timetable. With close support from patient, knowledgeable teachers and support sta, young people in Keys stages 3 and 4 embark on a journey of enterprising activities, creating and selling goods both in person and virtually; think pop up shops, trade fayres and street markets as just some of the opportunities to be customer facing students encounter. These experiences give learners a chance to gain team work, communication and work-based skills that will be transferable to adulthood. Small group teaching in English and Maths alongside a vocational personal development curriculum and close pastoral support are employed to ensure students acquire the knowledge needed to achieve in assessments and improve attendance in school. Students are beneting from our extensive links with support services and the Reexions team allowing students to navigate any barriers to attend. The small classes sizes mean lessons in English, Maths, Science and Art mean teachers are able to expedite progress and ensure students narrow the gaps in their knowledge; achieving their ‘end points’ as they would in a mainstream classroom. The team at Revive are looking forward to receiving your AP passports for young people to join them on a journey to strive, achieve and thrive.14 www.apinvictus.co.uk LEARNING CENTREReviveLEARNING CENTRERevive
