LOOKBOOK5Creating a free space is the highest valuated currency of our time. A place to let your hair down, your thoughts go astray and just be for a while. That is what the balcony represents to us, and that is what we are all about creating at Balcony Living Cph. For this season the design process has had the headline relaxation. We want the balcony to be a sanctuary in our ever so changeable world, and we yearn for season of outdoor living to begin again. We feel that resonate with our customers where the interest in balconies keeps increasing. Here laughter and optimism should take up the most space. On our balcony as well as in our lives. And we believe that we help our customers explore just that by giving them the best possible selection to create the balcony of their dreams. The past season we saw our lounge series becoming a popular item with our customers wanting to create that little oasis to retreat from their busy life. For this season we therefore optimized our lounge series in the hope that we can accommodate your every wish for every balcony. Last year we also launched the popular Stine parasol. With its fringes and happy colors you can’t help but get happy when enjoying the sun with this one - making it a bestseller. For this season we will be launching the Stine parasol as well as our Sally and Frida parasol in more models and colors. Hoping that this can allow your summer to be filled with even more comfy hours in the sun. LOOKBOOK7Our journey towards sustainabilityAt our company we wish to create a community. Centered around more modest principles like light, laughter, kindness and being down to earth. In that wish we see it only natural to extend that sense of togetherness with the planet we live on. It can sound grand, but for us it really is quite simple. To create great design for our customers to value and love for many years to come. That is where we started our journey as a sustainable conscious company and that is where we continue to grow from. We know overconsumption to be at the core of the climate crisis. That is also why we focus on not only on designing products with a long lifespan, but also how to inform our customers about the best possible care of their products. This includes everything from informative guides on how to care for your wooden furniture to applying a protective inner box to your flower boxes. We also focus on reducing our residual product. In our inhouse sewing production, where we make our balcony shades, we have just launched a project to create tote bags from the leftover fabrics. By doing so we hope to minimize the waste from our production as much as possible. For the packaging of all our products we use recycled cardboard and moving forward we also wish to optimize the product chain even more. This includes looking at the way we produce, package and transport our products as well as selecting the materials of the possible highest quality and durability.Being a young company our journey is just getting started. It is a process in which we continue to grow. We know that we are nowhere near the finish line and we can always do better. But we believe that every small act matters and together we can have a greater impact. That is also why we hope to inspire our customers to join and support us in this journey.
