AL A IRONWOOD WARRIOR S FOOTBALL CoacHING STAFF Loren Dawson Head Coach ALA Ironwood has hired Loren Dawson to be its new Head Football Coach in 2023 Dawson a native of Pinal County returns home after spending twenty eight years coaching at the collegiate level Stops included Midwestern State Phoenix College Colorado School of Mines and Austin College Coach Dawson served as the Head Coach at Austin College from 2010 2022 Dawson s high school experience includes five years at Bourgade Catholic High School 3 assistant 2 HC Loren is an alum of Casa Grande Union HS and Arizona State University He married his wife Stephanie in 1990 and they are Blessed with two Children Gaven and Faith Stephanie and Gaven are both Special Education Teachers and Faith is a sophomore at ASU I feel extremely blessed to receive this opportunity to become a contributing member of the ALA Ironwood community The people here from the administration faculty parents to most notably the students are all rock solid United in their care for one another and their desire to be successful in all areas As a program we will work daily to Be Our Best as we represent our school program family and self with great focus energy and toughness Ted Brewster Running Backs Coach Ted Brewster has been a football lacrosse baseball and wrestling coach Ted is the running back and defensive backs coach for ALA Ironwood He is a Junior High Science Teacher as well as a college professor for Brigham Young University Idaho He has been a college professor for the past 20 years teaching Microbiology Biology Anatomy and Physiology and Environmental Science He began teaching High School in 2019 for ALA Ironwood Ted has been married to Cody Brewster for 32 years They have three children Ted is grateful for the opportunity he has to coach so many good young men Michael Coe Offensive Line Coach 8 With 22 years of coaching experience Coach Coe brings a rich background of football experience He boasts an impressive 26 years of playing experience and has earned a place in the Pacific Northwest Hall of Fame s 2014 Class His expertise extends to coaching offensive lines at Glendale Community College from 2003 to 2004 and at Pacific Lutheran University from 2005 to 2006 alongside an outstanding 16 year run as a semi pro player
FOOTBALL CoacHING STAFF Coach Eric Rogers is in his 12th year of coaching with 10 years at Skyline High school for both varsity and jv Coach Rogers is in second year at ALA Ironwood and is coaching the defensive backs In addition to football he is a proud father of his son Aiden I m an Alumni student athlete of ALA Ironwood returning to help strengthen the program that helped me become who I am today I m still in my first year of coaching hoping for more years to come I am the third child in a family of 6 Eric Rogers Defensive Backs Coach Colter Borden Receivers Coach This is my first year coaching at ALA Ironwood Currently I am serving as the offensive coordinator I have been coaching high school football in Arizona since 2008 for a total of 16 years I have coached at Red Mountain San Tan Foothills Mountain View Skyline Basha I am married to my my wife Jennifer have two kids Brett Nathan Gregory Nielson Offensive Coordinator Ray Pyle Safeties Coach Coach Ray Pyle is in his 1st year coaching at ALA Ironwood coaching the Safeties on Defense This is his 1st year coaching Varsity High School Football in Arizona Ray played football and is an alum of Buena H S in Sierra Vista Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University earning a B S degree in Criminology Ray enjoys family time the outdoors and studying watching attending football games in his off time Ray and his wife Orchid married in 2022 and have 2 kids Layla and Leo Coach Robinson has been coaching with ALA Ironwood since 2018 This is his 5th season with the Warrior football team Coach Robinson is also the head wrestling coach at ALA Ironwood Robinson and his wife Jaimie have five children ranging from 6 months to 9 years old Ben Robinson Defensive Line Coach This is my second year working at Ironwood my first year working in the Athletic Department I am grateful for the opportunity to coach at the high school level This is my first year coaching high school but I had the opportunity to coach the Junior High team last winter spring I played football from the age of six all the way through high school I have also had the opportunity to officiate Tyler Landeck the game of football for youth and freshman level play I love Linebacker Coach sharing my knowledge and experience with the young men here at Ironwood I am currently engaged to my lovely fiance and have two children 9
2023 Hey Warrior Fam I am very excited for the 2023 season of Warrior Football I have had the awesome opportunity to work as the strength coach for the ALA Ironwood team This will be my 2nd full year with these young men and they have shown tremendous growth during the o season Coming o of their season last year these athletes have been working every day to improve themselves physically and mentally They have been put through very intense workouts since last November in preparation for this season Each of them has individually stepped up to help fill the roles and responsibilities that are needed to be successful as a team unit I am very proud of their hard work and dedication to becoming the best versions of themselves I am looking forward to seeing their o season work translate to their in season performance This group is special and they have a very strong brotherhood that is clearly evident by the way they push and motivate each other to be be er They have a newfound energy and I truly believe this season is going to be the start of a new chapter for the Warrior football program Warriors you are prepared for the ba le Swords Up Coach Borden S WORDS UP 10
