2WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST PRiORiTiES? Alignment with your family’s values? Safety? Academic preparedness? At Peoria Christian School, biblical learning goes hand in hand with strong academics. We aredistinctively Christian and decidedly academic. The Word of God is our primary focus in every subject matter, sport, and artistic area. Our outstanding faculty, staff, and coaches cultivate this worldview byinteracting with students and their families daily. We provide a safe training ground for your child to grow and mature academically, physically, and, most importantly, spiritually. Students are safe to ask questions and are led by faculty, staff, and coaches who are committed followers of Christ. In the early years at PCS, students learn about our awesome God and how much He loves them. They are given the opportunity to understand that wisdom comes from God’s Word, that they are created in God's image and meant for fellowship as they serve and are good stewards of God's gifts. As their understanding increases as middle school students, they are given opportunities to strengthen their appreciation for the unified story of the Old and New Testaments, continuing to grow in their under-standing of wisdom, image-bearing, fellowship, servanthood, and stewardship. As high schoolers, the students will dive deep into the doctrines of the faith and grow in knowing what it means to worship Christ in all aspects of life. In the last semester of high school, seniors are given the opportunity to serve in their local church or a para-ministry of the church. At PCS, we build strong worshippers. We are a Christian school for Christian families. A Peoria Christian School education prepares graduates for college, ministry, or trade it prepares them for life. Dr. Angie Lyons, Superintendent

3STATEMENT OF FAiTHPEORIA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL BELIEVES:• We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and are inerrant in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.• We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth and His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future personal return in power and glory.• We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.• We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.• We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25), and that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other and that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity is engaged in outside of marriage between a man and a woman (Genesis 1:27–28; 2:21–24; Matthew 19:4–9; Mark 10:5– 9; Ephesians 5:22–33).• We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26–27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.
