The first six months of hismandate were marked by intense listening and internal dialogue, aimed at defining aclear and future-oriented strategy.What is the peculiarity of Avantea?“We are pioneers in the application of the OPU-ICSI technique (Ovum Pick Up –Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), an advanced fertilization method that offerssuperior results compared to traditional techniques.”OPU-ICSI involves collecting oocytes from the donor (Ovum Pick Up), followed byfertilization via intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). After a 7-9 day in vitro cultureperiod, the embryo is ready for freezing and subsequent embryo transfer (ET). Thismethodology represents a significant improvement over the in-vivo flushingtechnique, offering greater flexibility and higher success rates.
