1 Location Residence The college is set in the perfect place for you to focus on your future The key to successful study is within a positive mind set If you live and work in the right environment you will be able to focus and achieve more so our residence is designed to provide a comfortable base overlooking the sea to live and learn BSTG is set in what we like to call it a beautiful boutique style educational hotel The Old Bank which is set on the seaside of Hastings The college offers everything you could need for your stay with us with talented chefs and onsite support staff We are set in an ideal location with a range of shops and entertainment facilities around the corner and direct train links taking you to London in just 90 minutes Each room comes with en suite bathroom facilities and modern d cor to suit the trendy young adult As the name suggests The Old Bank is based in a converted bank building which is steeped in history but provides a comfortable foundation for bright futures

2 Our educational approach At BSTG we believe in a personal tailored approach to every learner s academics To do this we take the time to understand who you are and where you are heading in life so that we can craft an independent learning programme tailor made for you and your goals We understand that some students require different pathways and may not be suited to traditional boarding school life or the rule book that comes with it so we provide our students with the freedom to make their education their own and decide how to invest their free time be it in activities workshops or independent study Our quality tuition and one to one support guides students towards meeting the entry requirements for university and our personalised approach enables us to cater to a range of educational backgrounds and a variety of personal educational needs Every student is an individual every student is special and every student has the potential to succeed

3 Learning within a set of guidelines We provide students with the freedom to make this experience their own but this is truly a joint venture where students must understand that in order to achieve they must put their own efforts in When students embark on a course with us they enter into a learning agreement which is tailored much alike the academic programmes to provide guidelines and goals designed to utilise the time with us in the best way possible Students must commit to maintaining a 100 level of attendance and utilise their free times in the most appropriate ways to benefit their goals be that to attend a workshop or to catch up on some missed work Our aim is for each student to achieve their goals and head off to the university of their choice and this is the first step
