NEW SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE CLASSES START JANUARY 4TH If you haven’t taken the time to check out our adult bible classes yet, or you haven’t been in a while, we want to encourage you to try them out in this new year. We have classes for all ages, life stations and 2 that are multigenera-tional. Our study for January and February begins January 4th and focuses on “How to Lament Well.” This series invites us to recover the lost language of lament—honest, faithful, conversa-tion with God in the midst of pain, grief, and unanswered questions. Together, we’ll learn how Scripture gives us words when life hurts, how lament deepens our trust rather than weakens it, and how God meets us in suffering with hope that endures. At the info desk out in the Great Hall is a listing of all our classes and their room numbers. You can also catch one of our Welcome Team with the blue lanyards who can assist you. We hope to see you soon in one of our classes. SYMPATHY To Judy Alexander and family, In the death of her husband, Roy Alexander on December 17th. The turning of the year invites both honesty and hope. It creates time to dream, set goals and prayerfully approach the new year. It provides us an opportunity to reflect on where faith has carried us—and where obstacles have felt heavy. Today we will turn to Mark 5. We encounter people facing overwhelming circumstances who choose faith anyway. Their stories invite us to reflect on the challenges of the past year and to imagine stepping into the next one with a faith that persists, reaches out, and trusts that God is present. We’re excited you’re here today. We’re praying that God will grow, strength-en and encourage our faith as we head into the new year together! WHERE IS THE MONTEREY APP? If you have still been using the old Monterey App, it officially expired from the App Store last month. In it’s place, we redesigned the Monterey website to provide the same easy access to your favorite information, include the Weekly Bulletin, Church Directory, Connection Card, Event Schedules, Giving, and more!
