LOVE GOD | LOVE OTHERS May 10, 2026 I montereychurch.com CONNECT TO OUR FAMILY SUNDAY WORSHIP A CAPPELLA 8:30 AM BIBLE CLASSES 9:45 AM INSTRUMENTAL 10:45 AM ADULT BIBLE CLASSES For the Spring we will be studying "The Life of David". But, as a twist, we won’t be hitting the greatest hits. David’s story is more than a shepherd and a giant. It’s the journey of a man anointed before he was ready, hunted before he was crowned, and humbled after he rose to power. In this ten-week walk through 1 & 2 Samuel, we’ll explore calling, fear, leadership, failure, and faith—and discover what God sees when He looks at the heart. Let’s learn how a faithful God works through flawed people, shaping hearts in caves, crises, and crowns alike. WEDNESDAY MIDWEEK CONNECT MAY 6-20 “UNVEILED” - Led by Haylee Green We all carry hidden distortions—lies we unknowingly believe that veil God's true character. But when we bring them into Scripture's light, the veil lifts, the strongholds fall, and we recover the unhindered relationship with Christ we were made for. “AGE OF EXCESS” - Led by Hudson Hutchinson We've said yes to entertainment, success, and comfort so many times it's shaped us. Come learn the great gain of saying no—and discovering godliness with contentment. RECOVERY IN CHRIST—6:45 PM SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS—RM 278, 6:45 PM KIDS | TEENS | COLLEGE—6:45 PM At their usual locations

Weeds growing alongside wheat. A hidden treasure. A net full of fish. Workers in a vineyard. A wedding banquet. Bridesmaids waiting in the night… and more. Each story offers an ordinary image that reveals an extraordinary truth: God is at work in the world, often in ways we do not expect. The Kingdom doesn’t move the way we think it should. It grows slowly. It includes surprises. It challenges our assumptions about fairness, grace, readiness, and what truly matters. The Kingdom Jesus describes isn’t built on power or visibility, but through small, transformative movements. Over the next several months, we will spend time together as a church living in these Kingdom stories—allowing Jesus to show us not only what the Kingdom looks like, but also what it means to live under God’s reign. Because ultimately, these aren’t just sto-ries to understand. They are invitations to step into the life of the Kingdom.
