SUNDAY WORSHIP A CAPPELLA 8:30 AM BIBLE CLASSES 9:45 AM INSTRUMENTAL 10:45 AM LOVE GOD | LOVE OTHERS April 19, 2026 I montereychurch.com CONNECT TO OUR FAMILY ADULT BIBLE CLASSES For the Spring we will be studying "The Life of David". But, as a twist, we won’t be hitting the greatest hits. David’s story is more than a shepherd and a giant. It’s the journey of a man anointed before he was ready, hunted before he was crowned, and humbled after he rose to power. In this ten-week walk through 1 & 2 Samuel, we’ll explore calling, fear, leadership, failure, and faith—and discover what God sees when He looks at the heart. Let’s learn how a faithful God works through flawed people, shaping hearts in caves, crises, and crowns alike. WEDNESDAY MIDWEEK CONNECT "STEPS & STORIES" | WOMEN’S WALKING CLASS | PRAYER GARDEN This class specifically for women, brings women together for a casual hour of walking through the prayer garden — a chance to slow down, breathe fresh air, and get to know someone new. Some weeks include a simple topic to spark conversation; most weeks it’s just good company and an open path. Whether you’re new to Monterey or just looking for a few more faces to call friends, you’re welcome here. Meet us in the Prayer Garden. "PSALMS FOR THE MESSY MIDDLE” | ADULT CLASS | FIRESIDE ROOM Led by a different speaker each week including: Becca Webb, Kellan Carassco, and Mary DuPont. The Psalms were written by people in the messy middle of things — praising through tears, trusting through chaos, hoping when hope felt thin. Look inside four psalms that together tell the full story of life with God. Sweeping praise. A life well-lived. Fierce confidence. Honest lament. Four psalms. Four teachers. One God who meets us exactly where we are. RECOVERY IN CHRIST—6:45 PM SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS—RM 278, 6:45 PM KIDS | TEENS | COLLEGE—6:45 PM At their usual locations

Weeds growing alongside wheat. A hidden treasure. A net full of fish. Workers in a vineyard. A wedding banquet. Bridesmaids waiting in the night… and more. Each story offers an ordinary image that reveals an extraordinary truth: God is at work in the world, often in ways we do not expect. The Kingdom doesn’t move the way we think it should. It grows slowly. It includes surprises. It challenges our assumptions about fairness, grace, readiness, and what truly matters. The Kingdom Jesus describes isn’t built on power or visibility, but through small, transformative movements. Over the next several months, we will spend time together as a church living in these Kingdom stories—allowing Jesus to show us not only what the Kingdom looks like, but also what it means to live under God’s reign. Because ultimately, these aren’t just stories to understand. They are invitations to step into the life of the Kingdom.
